Ah yes, the two journalists who were reporting on the Casemiro transfer weeks before it happened
I was responding to someone saying that they would expect more English journos reporting it. Keep up

I believe its over, for now. Over for good? No. We havent heard anything about his salary being figured out so i think we will monitor the situation closely the rest of the window and until next summer!

How do you go back to work after months of your employers desperately trying to get you to either leave your workplace against your will or give up money you are owed. It's so bizarre if we take it out of the context of football.
Its his dream club, his fiance loves the city and he is getting paid alot of money.

I dont think he cares about the rest, being used in his correct position or things like that.

Looks like our pursuit of De Jong is done. Disgrace. Absolute disgrace. Ten Hag's number 1 priority chased all summer and they've failed. This is why we'll always be screwed under the Glazers. Run by incompetence.

No-one should be surprised. This was an embarrassing transfer all summer. Sorry but it was. Pathetic it reached 1.6k pages

Someone needs a cuddle I think.

By the way, Casemiro, Martinez, Eriksen and Malacia say hi. Even if we only added Antony, we have had a good window. I still have a very thin strand of hope that, somehow, FDJ will still arrive but if not, we are going to be a very different team now with what looks to be a much improved spine.

Edit: Just seen the copy paste post above. Lazy assed posting.

Why would he move and risk losing out on the 17m euros that Barcelona owe him? As soon as that was made public it was always clear that the transfer was highly complicated and very unusual. We got fecked over by Barcelonas own incompetence. Now we have to sit back and hope Barcelona get fecked over financially this season as that will put us in a much better position to negotiate the price down next Summer.

Don't worry, by this evening Romero will tell us things are HOT again and we can all go mental.

@Dennis Viollet, are you Mark Goldbridge or are you just copying his tweets verbatim? If you're copying, please give a source.

Things are happening. Hot hot hot. Tell all your friends. Get them round. Just the lads. There’s movement. Stand around in a circle. Throw a biscuit down in the ground in the middle. Fire emoji. Cannot stress this enough: just the lads. Everyone pulls the stomach off themselves. Loser is the last man standing, so to speak. One by one the friends are all leaving. This doesn’t feel very fire emoji at all. Maybe we should have invited some women. The room smells of shame, amongst other things. Ice emoji. See you back here at 9pm, guys.

But isn’t it said that a transfer thread of 1693 pages didn’t result in a transfer? There are not that many longer threads at the Caf…

Was always going to be unlikely after Casemiro and if spending on Antony/Gakpo. Shame though, I reckon we will try again for him though.
