O'Hara seemed to be trying to read where the Ajax penalty takers were going to shoot and then diving afterwards but he only ended up in letting in savable penalties. A poor performance all round from him.

That said, there were lots of positives, we have some cracking players coming through. Burn and Daheli were stand outs.
Yeah, thought that was what he did too. Almost worked on one of them as it was very poorly placed, but he never got near any of the other ones. Just need to take your chance as a keeper.

Congrats to the Ajax boys!!

To lose the game with a 2-0 lead is shite to be honest, but that mistake from O'Hara has changed the game (He has looked poor in the penalty shoot-out too).

But to be in the final was a success with that squad, it should give us still some confidence for the FA-Youth Cup semi-final against Chelsea on Friday.

And i'm saying it for the last time..........we must sign Jake Cooper from Reading!!!!!

All in all it was a nice tournament!!

I pity O'Hara, as he was doing good until the final. Still, this has been a good experience for the lads. Not the best of season for our youth team, but in this tournament and the FA youth cup, we have seen what the lads are capable of. In danger of sounding like a scouser: Next year...

The state of some people...it's a youth tournament, and these are youngsters - amount of abuse people were spewing on twitter.

People need to engage their brain before typing.

Proud of them, we were unlucky, but we lost to Ajax, not some mugs from nowhere.

If the Ajax lad is sent off for hacking down Tshibola, as he should have been, hard to see us not winning that. Some of the kneejerkery as result of us not doing is barmy, particularly the flak for O'Hara.

Terrific tournament as a whole, nothing but encouraging.

why are people slagging off O'Hara?

all a learning curve and all valuable experience. i really like the look of Cooper as well from these highlights! unorthodox CB.

who was #2 in the final? Grimshaw? Wilkinson?
