I didn't realise this was on so early but I KNEW Mainoo wouldn't start. We always derail Yong players who start well.

Do we? But separately, Mainoo is 18, coming back from a 3 month lay off and played 3 days ago. In this case its frustrating but completely understandable

Mctominay is not just a liability as a footballer.

He crumbles under pressure, and when that happens in the middle of the pitch, it goes around the team. We have very weak mentality as a group, and today he is the catalyst.

Mainoo on for Amrabat? Can't be playing him on a yellow with these cheating cnuts.

I'm worn out from that half coming right after work. Absolutely frantic half.

Great start by us. Good goal by Garnacho, well worked by the team and a nice finish. Insane strike by Fernandes too.

Shame we allowed them a route back into the game and not they have the confidence. Bruno may get some blame but someone needed to be covering the space where the player was running through. Onana could have done better too.

How do we keep buying midfield duds? Bruno is the only one we've bought in the last 10 years who has been any good.

If the aim is to calm things down and keep the ball then McTominay's got to be the first one to go. His inability to keep or do anything useful with the ball at his feet is absolutely killing us.

Its more these euro refs are unpredictable and Amrabat is only a late slip or lazy boot and hes off.

McTominay is lazy, ball shy and a liability in our midfield. How does he continue to keep getting games at this club will forever be a mystery

How have we been playing? I caught the last 5 mins

First 25 mins, we controlled the game and deservedly went two goals up which completely silenced the crowd. Bruno’s goal was a stunner and Garnacho’s was a nice team build up one too Then we give away a silly freekick at the edge of the box which Ziyech scores from although Onana should have done better. Since then it’s been a bit of frantic nervous watch at times. We badly need to regain our composure and control in this match otherwise, it’s going to be Copenhagen 2.0

I would’ve liked to see another view of that offside tbh
To be fair it’s semi automated so offside is offside
If I were in charge I wouldn’t even show the replays, I’d show clubs after to ensure no corruption but it stops the hatred of the close offsides being given.

I really hope our players come out collected and don't fall for being baited into their emotions. I'm looking at you Bruno and Anthony. Play their dirty game a bit, sure but be meteorological about it. Nothing worse the embarrassment of surrendering a game while looking like a proper tool.

Yes, rain down on them with all the passion and energy. Quick lightning breaks and thunderous shots at goal. Cause them all kinds of hail.

Rashford being out is a shame, he'd have acres of space behind their defence, especially with them pushing forward.

Think I’ll place a bet on Galatasaray, then at least I’ll get something out of it. This United team is so fragile.

didn’t realise the players they have. Icardi, Ziyech, Ndombele, Martins, Torreira and obvious one Zaha

no mugs these guys to be fair

think we’ve played well and handled the occasion well so far. They’re obviously a threat but there should be chances for us as well. Outcome of this game depends (I feel) on who will take theirs.

They are playing such a high line every time they lose the ball, were one decent through ball away from being another goal up.

Owh wow that offside    Can’t wait for the Wenger offside rule, these types of calls are just stupid.

Wenger’s offside rule really isn’t that great - an integral part of football is defending and traps are core to it - small margins mean a lot. The whole body needing to be ahead for it to be offside is a nightmare for defenders. Wenger’s rule just makes a job that’s increasingly harder - defending - even more daunting.

There’s no way we are holding on to 2-1 for 45 minutes so we need at least one more. Entertaining but it’s pinball football with no control. Watching in Turkey in a bar full of Turks so celebrations were muted when Bruno hit that screamer.

Brilliant goals from Garnacho and Bruno.
Unnecessary challenge from Bruno to give away a free kick in a dangerous zone. I just don't understand why some of our players like to come from behind and make a challenge in those situation. 99% of time the opponent is waiting dor the slightest touch to go down. ETH needs to drill that in their head. We have been letting in goals from those freekick positions that resulted from fouls when we were not in danger at all.
The referee can't be influenced by the crowd. How is that a yellow card for Amrabat for clearing a call when their players getting away with sliding tackles taking our players down without card. Mental.
That's not on Bruno. Somebody gotta do sth in that situation. The question should be where the feck was Ambrat and Lindelof was just standing there doing feck all. You could see Bruno was fuming with probably both after that foul. He simply had to do smth because none did anything.

Rashford being out is a shame, he'd have acres of space behind their defence, especially with them pushing forward.
Ya acres of space to feck things up time and time again.
    He’s absolutely no loss whatsoever

Quite enjoying the game and going to watch the 2nd half. That's progress for me.

Antony has been decent and I don’t think I’ve said that too often in the last 18 months

We're 100% getting a red card in this game. Bruno or Amrabat? Place your bets.

    Heartburn FC

Amrabat is chasing shadows tonight. Looks slow and well off the pace. We need Mainoo in there to put a foot on the ball and control the game. Even to take the ball off the back 4 and keep the ball. Amrabat and McTominay can't do that.

Quite enjoying the game and going to watch the 2nd half. That's progress for me.
This....some of you need to step away from your keyboards...losing the will to live over conceding a goal is not good for your mental health

Agree with people calling for mainoo now. He should have 45 in him and despite it being a tough place, I think he'll give more than either amrabat or mctominay. We still look vulnerable and have absolutely leaked goals in this competition.

    Antony playing well
