He has been treated pretty poorly at Madrid.. Totally fair for him to not give a feck anymore.

I don't know why anyone is worried about Bale. The guy has tasted league and European success. Now he doesn't give a feck and he is counting his money and playing golf. More power to him.

3 valuable things to remember.

Don’t fight with the local press. Don’t challenge people with more power then you. Stay away from politicians and angry women.
Hes already treated like shite from the club and their fans. They're getting what they deserve with that flag. He's got every right to milk his wages from them and rub it in.

I really hope this doesn't happen. The last thing we need is another player on obscene wages, past his prime and with an atrocious injury record, coming into the dressing room and disrupting the balance we seem to have at present. It's bad enough with Pogba making a fuss and itching for a move away, we do not want another ego in there thinking he is top dog.

I'm sure he has some quality performances left in the tank but knowing our luck we would sign him on 250k a week and he'd do his ACL in training the next day.

In my way of thinking, Bale is nailed on to re-join Spurs now....it's a text book Mourinho signing, and the stars are aligned.

Please sign for Spurs. That way we will have this monkey off our back and we can get closure over Sanchez signing as this is deja vu Sanchez.:D

Would love it if we got him, clearly still has a lot of football in him. Would obviously be on a pay as you play kind of deal considering his injury record.

Not really. The only thing they have in common is injury problems. On the pitch, Bale is still useful and still capable of doing the job, something Sanchez isn't.

I have a feeling he will end up here.
I doubt it unless if he wants to take a massive paycut to 140k p/w like Mata at max and not taking a starting XI role. The club has no interest to overpay ageing player anymore especially for someone who can be an injury prone.

When was he last injured? And then injured before that? Just curious

I wish more of my poor decisions in life brought me success, financial security for life and a chance of semi retirement at 30
Exactly! The only thing I have in common with Bale is my nationality and unfortunately hair loss!

I don't know why some say he's been poorly treated at Madrid.

What are the chances of Jose bringing him back to Tottenham in January?

I definitely think he is coming back to Tottenham. Usually you would think a smart team who cares about its wage structure and long term squad building to stay away from this transfer. However with mourinho everything is so short term even if probability of success is low.

He knew matic was on the decline but that didn’t stop the man paying 40 million  for his services at the time. Bale is a crock who can’t stay fit but is worldclass when available. The latter is all that matters to mourinho.

Absolutely no chance of this happening. None Nada. How would Levy ever sanction what 350 a week wages for a crock. And on top of it Real cancelled the transfer to China reportedly because the wanted a fee. This would be digging their own grave for so many reasons. How do they negotiate new contracts if they get a player coming in on 350? How do they keep Kane happy earning 150 less than a player who would be sidelined half the time. This is just click bait to sell papers. No one in their right mind would take Bale unless he was free and dropped his wage demands. And that's not happening. Has everyone just forgot about Sanchez? Not just United. Every club will have looked at that catastrophic mistake and thought no chance we will do the same.

Probably not the best flag to celebrate with?

Why does everyone think this is brilliant. As much as I dislike Madrid this is out of order and why the blood sucking players can do what they friggin well like and the clubs have to suffer ala Sanchez. They are paying him 350 a week! and he is injured half the time. Then just because he doesnt get to play he can go around insulting them. Disgusting. Even if this was Liverpool or City and I hate them with a passion I would still say this is just wrong. They should chuck him in the reserves to rot
