I think that's probably right. I was moaning in the match day thread about Neville pussyfooting around, criticising everything but not actively calling for Ole to go. I have conceded he was never going to verbalise 'Ole Out' and I agree that it doesn't make much difference which talking head; Gaz, Rio, Keane, whoever, says what on any particular topic.
However for me Gaz would be calling for this manager's head if he was at any other club. The fact it's Ole and the fact it's United is making Gaz equivocate in a way that seems to be at odds with his straight talking reputation. That's all really, I do think the obsession with what he says or doesn't say is funny (and I've even had a little go of it myself today
).
