This fecking comeback of his all the time when the issue of replacing the manager is brought up is so illogical. The thing is, you know full well he thinks it’s this slam dunk retort. Some gotcha moment that immediately shuts down any argument. But it’s really not. It’s just a superficial, illogical comeback yet he continues to use it.
Instead of assessing the managers on an individual basis he, for some reason, lumps them together into one entity. Instead of looking at them as individual managers, he combines them into this homogenous blob of “established, world-class managers" and says “see, we tried that, and it didn’t work” as if we should never go down that road again. How about we actually look at the individuals and asses it on that level, rather than “we tried hiring an established manager and that didn’t quite work out, so let’s just stick with what we got and not do that again.”
It makes no sense at all. It’s a good job we don’t have that attitude to players. Well, signed an established striker in Falcao and that didn’t work out for us, so let’s not sign an established striker ever again. He’s a fecking idiot with that argument.
I've got no problem with his refusal to ask for Ole to be sacked. He's criticized the team and the coaching. I don't need him to go on live TV and ask for his mate to be sacked from his job.
