Today has seen a nation wide meet up of Germany's (and I believe a Dutch contingent) deplorables and idiots to protest Corona measures. As the event was initially rejected by Berlin's senator of the interior (who has a SED past, which didn't exactly help with public perception), only to be overruled by the courts, which caused a lot of controversy before it even started. Nonethteless thus far the official count is "only" 38000 protestors rather than the millions the organizers proudly promised.
Thankfully the whole affair appears to have been mostly peaceful aside from the crowd protesting infront of the Russian embassy to demand a peace treaty (see:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reichsbürger_movement).
The biggest story of the day will probably be the 100-200(!?) people getting past the police to run up the Reichstag (parliament) steps, celebrating themselves as revolutionaries. You only have to look at the flags they are carrying to know what they are really about.
