I’m quite spontaneously jumping on a plane to Munich today, does anyone know the best way to get tickets for the match tomorrow by any chance? Is selling and buying from touts a thing (and legal?) in germany?

Leverkusen once again score twice in injury time to turn a 0-1 deficit around. Unreal.

Really impressive...I know they have a pretty difficult schedule in April but it really feels like this is their year.

They need 4 wins in their next 7 league games to be assured of the title even if Bayern wins out

That Leverkusen plot armor.
Yeah... it's not that those late wins are undeserved, today they were completely dominant again. But usually you lose SOME games in an unlucky way (as it would have been the case today). Just doesn't happen for them this season

Meanwhile Gladbach keeps tumbling and Freiburg stay in the fight for Europe. Feels a bit as if the race for the 7th spot (so likely ECL) is the most open position in the league right now. Leipzig drawing against Mainz ( ) also means that Dortmund could pull away a bit from them to stay safe in 4th spot.

But who am I kidding we all know how Dortmund operates, they will roll over for Bayern and that disappointing draw will be enough for Leipzig to overtake them.

Yeah, it is crazy. At some point, you have to win games unluckily in which you were better but not this season.

Still, 4.0 xG to 0.6. 34 shots. Lots and lots of things have to happen to be behind after almost 90 minutes in such a game, let alone lose it.

Leverkusen's busy month of April:

April 3rd: Düsseldorf (h, German cup)
April 6th: Union (a)
April 11th: West Ham (h, Euro)
April 14th: Werder (h)
April 18th: West Ham (a, Euro)
April 21st: Dortmund (a)
April 27th: Stuttgart (h)

I believe they're finally gonna lose one of those games but ideally they'll still have a sizable lead before those final 3 matches in May.

Never gets less funny that Dier has gone from the Spurs bench to starting for Bayern.

Nevermind... Bayern might have to jog a bit instead of walking now?

Might end up like the olden SAF days when United might go a goal down early and still come out victors by a considerable margin.

But stranger things have happened and Bayern do have a perennial loser up front (I sawwy, Harry of Spurs).

The difference is that those olden days it mattered. This is the first time in 14 years that these two meet and neither lead the league. For Dortmund CL qualification is in danger, but winning in Munich shouldn't be the key result for that anyway.

It's hard to remember when this match mattered less than today.

Maybe Bayern gave up on the title, so Dortmund might have chance this time...

Tuchel is just doing his best to mess Bayern up before he leaves. What is the point of playing your most competent midfielder at right back? Then the spurs reject gets in ahead of the chap from Napoli

In times of crisis Kimmich feels overly responsible and tries to do everything, even more than he usuall, does, he is always prone to do this. Having him play in midfield in that state of mind is a disaster for the team and himself. Shifting him to RB is actually the best decision for all involved and has worked well during the last matches, both for Bayern and the national team. It's not messing Bayern up, it is a sensible measure.

Not sacking Tuchel instantly was a major error, Reason many players are unwilling to extend their contract

Hummels really wants to play the EC it seems. Phenomenal match so far

And do you know who was leading the league then? Leverkusen
Makes it even crazier. But can't be much longer without one of the three, Wolfsburg 15 years ago probably

Sancho is causing Davies plenty of problems. Some odd choices though, had several chances to go at him 1 v 1 on breaks but has pulled it back, recycled it then gone at him with Bayern then having a set defensive shape.

Nope, also in 2009/10 it was Hamburg on the 5th matchday, it was Leverkusen on the 22nd

I don't expect this to last the until the end of the game, but compared to Bayern's usual sharpness against Dortmund this is an utterly pathetic display.

Say what you will about getting utterly humiliated by Bayern, it is way less stressful than this. It's the hope that kills you...

How has Kane looked for Bayern so far this season?
He already scored the most goals for a debut season in the league, so that's a first record to his name. When he really was on fire he seemed even to be able to break Lewandowski's total record, but slowed down a bit. So pretty good, but in some crucial moments he just wasn't there. Solid B grade I think.

Pretty terrible game, and an even worse performance from Bayern. They look devoid of ideas.

Edit: 2-0 Dortmund. Nice finish.
