No. Mitten said their people leaked the Bloomberg article around wanting investment and for the first time the message isn’t “the club is not for sale” - no doubt something is happening behind the scenes.Has anything come out from the Glazers yet about noy wanting to sell or dismissing rumours of people bidding for the club?
Agree 100%. We need to keep pushing (non-violently), both inside and outside the ground, both in-person and online. The protests are not about politics.
Its about the debt and the parasites bleeding the club until there is nothing left for future generations.
I know mates my age who have followed United from the 60s who have just given up saying 'we have seen the best of the club'.
And I was one of them.
But I want our club to be here for many generations to come.
The new owners whoever they are need to invest in the squad, stadium and training facilities.
With what the club is worth on the Balance Sheet, we cannot expect those who will invest to be people we will all love.
But the club must be run as a football club.
Until the Glazers leave, the protests must continue.
Only us supporters can save our club.

How about a sudden realisation they need funds for a major infrastructure project they can’t afford? They've been as popular as a nonce at a picnic for the best part of 2 decades. There really isn't going to be a desire to sell after a sudden realisation the fans hate them.

Yeah but when they wanted to invest in the Tampa bay buccaneers stadium Didn’t they just threaten to move the club out of Tampa so the city council funded a new stadium to get them to stay. That ain’t ever happening here.Nobody can "afford" it. Look at all the major infrastructure investments going on in world football over the last and coming up over next few years. Regardless of the net worth of the owners nobody are paying these sums outright.
We know the club are already looking at getting investment and raising money to do this. Again it seems to be on the same lines of the protest back in the day where the expectation suddenly was that the Glazer family who bought the club knowing that they would be plunging us into debt would suddenly wish to sell the club shocked that it was in debt .
They also have a history of sports team ownership I do not think it's anything other than extremely naive to think that they wouldn't have been aware of situations like this. The need to invest infrastructure happens periodically for all sports teams. You don't get to own a major Premier league and NFL sports teams if these things come as a surprise
Whatever you can say about them I find it strange that the base assumption appears to be that they are f****** morons. They are really not. Parasites maybe.
A seasoned sports team owner who would be aware of periodic massive infrastructure investment requirements who is actually actively planning the next infrastructure project is not going to suddenly sell up in response to having to invest in an upcoming predictable infrastructure project.
So you are not aware of the state of the facilities now which devalues their asset?Nobody can "afford" it. Spot on.The protests are not about politics.

What I struggle with is this optimism that it's suddenly going to be effective and successful.
Plenty of times. When have the Glazers ever said anything publicly?
Agreed. Something has to be going on. The stock has increased by about 10% recently, amongst all these rumours, so they have to comment something soon.No. Mitten said their people leaked the Bloomberg article around wanting investment and for the first time the message isn’t “the club is not for sale” - no doubt something is happening behind the scenes.

Must of missed it, last time we've heard anything publically from them was Joel Glazers open letter after the super league fiasco and a few fan forum apperances. Other than that they've been pretty quiet throughout their time at the club and don't think they have said anything during the many other times sale rumours came about.Plenty of times.
Yep. Dubai may be looking to buy a club, and this has been rumored for some time so it's not news at all, but there has not been any indication it's Manchester United. The only ones reporting on a potential sale are bottom tier sources like The Daily Mail and Mirror and it's not hard to make up links like that. The only reliable information we have about any potential sale is about the Glazers selling a minority stake. The protest continue as they should, but you can see the unrest has gone down after the last minute purchases and a few good results. The Glazers made the deal of a lifetime buying the club and are going nowhere anytime soon. There's literally nothing to this Dubai story except for Mike Keegan name dropping them in an article in the context of 'people who could afford the club if they wanted to buy it'
I get the desire to clutch at straws but this isn't even a straw
I agree with the sentiment, but we have to draw the line somewhere. I wouldn't want to be owned by Saudi Arabia just because they'd run us as a football club. What sort of legacy is that to leave behind for future generations? The protests are not about politics.

The stock has gone up, and unexplainably so. Only explanation so far is, in regards to the sale of the club. So, soon enough, the Glazers will have to confirm whether the club is for sale, or not!Our new found form or the whispers of them looking to sell causing this ?

Why will they? They're not a public utility. I suspect they'll continue to say feck all to everyoneThe stock has gone up, and unexplainably so. Only explanation so far is, in regards to the sale of the club. So, soon enough, the Glazers will have to confirm whether the club is for sale, or not!
Do you research first and then comment. Why will they? They're not a public utility. I suspect they'll continue to say feck all to everyone
Stock being at a 4 month high in less hysterical circumstances rarely leads to an expectation of a public statement.
The modern reality is any club that is as huge as we are will be owned by people we will not be happy with.I agree with the sentiment, but we have to draw the line somewhere. I wouldn't want to be owned by Saudi Arabia just because they'd run us as a football club. What sort of legacy is that to leave behind for future generations?
It’s largely due to the club not having a vision or future proofing the dominance we once exerted in the PL and CL. Managers with completely different approaches, who’ve shelled out on players suited to styles of play that ETH has no use for, often on huge contracts.I understand the frustration, but I think Manutd has it themselves to blame for not being competitive for so long.
So much money is spent for years on players who can't do anything with it.
If ManUtd wants to get back on their feet quickly, they must form a partnership and give all the credit to Ajax.
Also, the club does not have a good youth training, maybe they could also work on that?
The reason for Casemiro and Anthony late purchases was because the penny pinching Glazer whoresons failed to sign Frankie. There's been a recent video circulating around on Twitter, of the roof leaking inside. Just the pure negligence of these owners is incredible.
Gary Neville wasn't lying when he said OT will crumble in a few years time, of no real investment is made to OT...investment that the Glazers haven't got.
We’ve rarely done any business in the January window.
