This is brilliant. Teenagers will be teenagers.

Lesson learnt for Mason I'm sure.

Reminds me of the days with Giggsy and Sharpe etc.

Criticism here isn't neccessrily about agendas and bias against young players with money. And nor does the 'two young single lads' excuse wash at all. Pretending people are outraged because 2 young lads want to have sex is just being dishonest.

These guys have just had a few weeks off, have enormous wealth and were both on deserved holidays. Football is at its most precarious point ever with squads all over the world existing in bubbles and the show barely being kept on the road. It is their first ever call up. There's a couple of days between games and somehow, unbelievably they managed to feck up the simple rules they have to follow for 5 days. Its absolutely brutal decision making and their youth is a mitigating factor and can be forgiven of course. But I personally would question the professionalism of both and would expect some private repercussions at club level

Did a teenager make a mistake? Let's string him up by his testicles!

First Maguire and now this. Our entire squad are going to prison.
Leicester’s players got caught in an orgy in Thailand right before that season. We’re going to win the league!

Let's not be too harsh on Mason- he is just a kid and the temptation was clearly to much. I seem to remember Rooney doing similar stuff when he was young- let's hope Mason's bird hasn't started drawing her pension yet!

That's what happens when you have a shitty friend.

Jokes aside, Ole needs to come down hard on him, just like Sir Alex did to Giggs and Sharpe. He broke protocol and puts himself, his family and his team (country and club) at risk, discipline him so that such idiotic acts are not repeated again.

Jesus wept. The comments on here
Silly thing to do, but understandable given their age.
Just means Greenwood, like Maguire and Pogba, will have extra rest period.
You don't need to be a fully grown man to realise there's a pandemic going on and clear rules in place as a result. Age isn't an excuse for being an idiot in this case.

Not a big deal as long as they learn from it, only becomes an issue if it's repeat behaviour. Better to learn these lessons early in their careers.

I'd prefer it if Kyle Walker and Gareth Southgate were cought and kicked out of the England team, but then again, I don't care about NTs that much anyway

Sancho will never want to return to Manchester now after seeing and being reminded of the unprofessional behaviour of the local lads.

Rashford can take Mason under his wing. He can save him.

There's no hope for Foden.

Hardly an ordinary teenager though is he? Thus why it's gonna be plastered all over the English press now.
He's also 18 - nearly 19 - not 13.

Not unreasonable to expect him to have a bit more sense.

Hell Phil Folden is 20 and has a feckin' kid!

We need to start the season ASAP; our players are having a meltdown during this break.

It's been a while since you were a teenager it seems.

At that age all I could think about was football, gaming and women also.

What does seem silly is pairing 2 teenagers together in their own room.

Teenagers trying to get laid and celebrating their debuts basically. Not smart, but hey they're young and they're footballers, anyone expect them to be smart? They'll learn in time. Can't see it affecting us at all, just sucks for him to miss out on game time.

Obviously they’re in wrong.

The silver lining to this is at least Greenwood isn’t going to get injured in a glorified friendly.

Especially after the injury scare our new potential left-back took yesterday.

This is Ole playing 3D cheese with the International setup. It is all in the plans.
Never took OGS as a Dairylea Double Dunkers man!

They won't be fit though, this is pre-season for those players. It would have been much better for their fitness and sharpness than the crap friendlies they''ll play in instead.
It's a couple of days training and a friendly they'd probably get 10 mins in. It's will have zero impact on the new season.

No sympathy for either of these two idiots...Especially after watching England/Pakistan/West Indies adopt to bubble conditions with no drama in the Cricket for months/weeks

He's a teenager all the same. Being good at football doesn't mean he'll avoid the usual pit falls; in fact, it makes him more susceptible. It's a mistake. He'll learn. And we can all move on from this nightmare of finding out Mason tried to bang a hot Icelandic bird. The horror.

There's a lot of incels on here seemingly thinking that the only barrier to them being a catch is their bank balance.

Its the power of the number 11 shirt at United. That number 11 shirt sure does have stories around it.
With Best, Giggs, even Januzaj and the nandos story, Martial and now Greenwood adding his own.

It's not very responsible but young lads are daft, they've been punished for it so hopefully they've learned a lesson.
