He got an "angry and desperate" Kane for this season already. Kane did alright.
Levy doesn't give a damn about Kane's career, let's be honest.
Kane will do alright but it won't change Spurs' fortunes. Next year he'll go for free and it will still be impossible to replace him.

Can we not be certain that if Kane wants to leave this summer but Levy makes him stay for that last season that there is no fukking way Kane signs a new contract to remain at Spurs?

Anything is possible but why would Kane choose to stay at a failing team when the chairman failed to keep to their agreement 2 years ago and compels him to stay again this season?

Why would Levy care about any players career? Do you think any chairman does?
Isn’t it more the damage it does to Spurs? Why would any young player sign for Spurs seeing the way they treat one of their greatest ever players? If you are the next Haaland and faced with a choice of signing for Dortmund or Spurs, surely they’d pick Dortmund every single time given Levy’s approach. That can’t be the best position for the club.

But, why? Finished 8th WITH him, no European football next season, you're next going to achieve anything in the next year so surely cashing in and starting a proper rebuild is the only logical step.
Either 100m to help replace him now or nothing to help replace him next summer.
It doesn’t make any sense.

Who won’t want Harry Kane in this team? He’ll bang them in for fun here

30 league goals with THAT Spurs team. Wow! good on him.

He could probably do a Teddy Sheringham and play well into his late thirties.

He deserves a move to a bigger club, one which will challenge for trophies. Staying at Tottenham makes no sense.

Anyone who thinks he’s past it or not what we need needs an examination of sorts.

Minor miracle that he’s doing what he is at Spurs.

Harry Kane did his job, and more than that, he was simply let down by his team.

One thing is guaranteed with Kane, he is clinical in the final third, be it with creating or finishing. That’s something we lack in the extreme apart from Rashford on a good day.
Lots of wasted chances again today.

his finishing is what separates him from almost any other CF in England bar Haaland....With Kane, you'd add at least another 15 goals to our tally and probably another 10-12 points

He needs to have some ambition and threatens Levy to use the Webster ruling.

30 goals in that Tottenham team is more impressive than 36 goals in that city team. I said it. Harry Kane is world class and we need to
Give Tottenham whatever they want. He scores guaranteed today (the Weghorst miss at the end is one example)

2nd time he's scored 30 goals and not won the golden boot

He's a goal machine. Would love him at United.

Scores so much you lose track of how many he is behind Shearer.

I know this place loves to wank over unproven strikers (Embolo, Nunez, Muani, Sesko, Hojlund, Ramos) but Kane is absolute must get for us. Put him in our team and most of those early chances we miss turn to goals, helps us settle better into games and helps us build confidence overall as team.

What's more, he doesn't just score - so we are not getting Inzaghi here - but he's a chance creation machine. The perfect striker.

I would say it does in terms of them doing significantly worse next season without him. Perhaps Levy simply thinks that one more season of Kane is worth more than a transfer fee. One more season of Kane is a season of them possibly getting top 4 (Every season there are a couple big clubs that implode), higher league finish and the possibility of him signing a new contract. He's impossible to replace now or next year, so why not kick the can one year down the road and hope that in the year a solution presents itself (Kane renewing, a new striker who can take his place rising to prominence, Spurs getting a Salah like player that reduces their reliance on Kane etc etc)

Great season. Spurs are insanely lucky he's hung around as long as he has.

Needs to join United and break Shearer's record within two seasons and hopefully get some trophies

Can't see him going anywhere in the summer, but Levy will be flogging him everywhere for chicken feed in January

We scored 30 league goals less than Arsenal this season, if we had had Kane and he scored those 30 how close would we be to City?

I've got a feeling that he'll stay at Spurs now. Would love him at United, but just wonder if he's keen to stay put and be the 'big fish'.

Not only is he the player we need right now, but he’s probably also the most available he’s ever been and with City signing Haaland we are literally the best placed team to sign him. It feels like everything is falling into place in way.

Except for Levy being the deciding factor. He won't let Kane join us.

Levy has sold players to us over the years I don’t get this mythological reputation he seems to have. We will have to pay good money but it’s the last year of his contract and he’s probably going to want to leave. It’ll happen if we can afford it.

He is going to have to kick up a real fuss now. No messing about Harry. Transfer request needs to go in tomorrow.

Be gutted if he waits 12 months and joins Liverpool or Chelsea next summer on a free which could easily happen if we move on to another target.

Spurs have missed out on Europe all together.....how can he stay unless they demand a stupid amount of money and they run out his contract

What do you want Levy to do?
What do you think he will do?
I want him to get a new manager and DOF in as soon as possible and try to convince Kane that the club is going in the right direction, I would definitely not sell him. I think he will refuse to sell Kane this summer unless we get a CRAZY offer (£100 million+) and he will risk losing him for a free next summer.

If he puts in a transfer request surely they'll have to sell him, almost impossible for Spurs to replace him but it's easier to do with £100m rather than nothing next year
