If you can’t see that he had a good game so far today then perhaps football is not for you. Try handball or something.
Ok. If it's players like Lingard that continue to dominate the football scene, I'd rather watch handball :-D

He hasn't had a good game, really average. I think anyone else on the squad would have contributed as much if not better. He's missed very obvious link up play with Valencia and Lukaku. Rashford should be out there instead of Lingard.

I don't feel that people hate Lingard.... he's just a very limited player in a technical/productive sense

this thread is the kind of thread that gets bumped 3 times a year

I don’t hate any united player but he’s not good enough. He constantly plays what should be attacking balls behind the receiving player, has no pace and doesn’t get the number of assists and goals to justify his attacking place in the team.

Don’t try to make it personal by defending an average player.
Knew you’d turn up just like you did in fletcher and O’Shea threads

Bit OTT this. He's an average player - nothing controversial about it.

Good riddance.
Ha ha. Tell us how you really feel. Dumb Lingard. Should play in Newcastle or maybe Wolverhampton Wanderers as he keeps wandering on the pitch without much impact.

I don't get it, he's pretty good as a squad player. Links up well, and does something very few of our players actually do - he shows for the ball. Constantly.

I do like a player who's willing to take the ball when under pressure.

1. He's ok
2. Don't mind him as a squad option, he'd make a decent back up for a genuinely good no 10
3. We need a good number 10

It's a wonderful run by Lingaaaard, he's cut Watford to ribbons
