What? They have stands and roads named after them already with statues too.I once read an article that suggested we change the name of the ground to :
THE
SIR MATT BUSBY
and
SIR ALEX FERGUSON
STADIUM
AT
OLD TRAFFORD
Given SAF's recent health problem it might be a good time to think about it. I think it does a good job of payin homage to our two reat managers and keeps the words Old Trafford for easy use and therby maintaining the traditional name. Should the Glazers want to sell the naming rights, which I wouldn't rule out somewhere down the line, the extra name could be incorporated without chaging the rest.
What do you think ?
Quite like the theatre of dreams. It goes with the romance of our club's history.Just stick with Old Trafford and ditch that god awful cringe worthy "Theater of Dreams" reference
Bobby Robson ? But was he knighted for the work he did at Ipswich ? Who's the other one ?Probably a dozen or more clubs with one knighted manager - Ipswich have two. It's even more clubs if you include players.
You think dying in a plane crash is romantic ?Quite like the theatre of dreams. It goes with the romance of our club's history.
No other club has something like that.
True, the current football and success is way off being dream like but I think it is a good reminder of what we should aspire to create at Manchester United. Dream nights for the fans and for young players coming through the ranks.
DimwitHow about you change your name to Shirley, or change your sex even though you still feel like a man? Pointless questions right, just as yours is, it should never ever be renamed.
You think dying in a plane crash is romantic ?
Oh the ironyDimwit
LOL woah cowboy. You think dying in a plane crash is romantic ?
Says the guy asking about changing our stadium name like a pathetic plastic.Dimwit
Not all dreams are pleasantOld Trafford and always Old Trafford. However, 'Theatre of Dreams' has not been a good tag for a good few years now, not the way we play football these days.
From the OP, I believe it's a synonym for "chaging". Now if we could just figure out what that means...What's a "chaning"?
Also, are you 10 years old?
From the the man who can't distinguish a noun from a gerund ?Oh the irony
Sir Alf Ramsey.Bobby Robson ? But was he knighted for the work he did at Ipswich ? Who's the other one ?
What the actual feck? From the the man who can't distinguish a noun from a gerund ?
Not something I expected to read today but I guess the same can be said for every other aspect of this disaster of a thread. You think dying in a plane crash is romantic ?
How did you make it to full member?? We should never change the name and the "theatre of dreams" still means a lot to the older fans like meYou think dying in a plane crash is romantic ?
“Chanting”, he meant “How about chanting the name of the ground?”I agree, let's chain the name right in there.
About two weeks just to write it.Must have taken a long time to come up with that.
Yes, the Megastore of Forbidden Desires still resonates with me too. They best not chane that. How did you make it to full member?? We should never change the name and the "theatre of dreams" still means a lot to the older fans like me
How about Old Trafford 1.0 then everytime there's an update we can easily keep track of changes?
New Trafford.
To "Feck aff"? Or is that not subtle enough?
New Old TraffordNew Trafford.
