We've had 'top coaches' and they didn't get more out of our players so we don't 'have to think' anything.
Except those top coaches won trophies already within two seasons. One of the two won in first season.
Ole don't. Benefit of a doubt, at least not yet. This is his first 2nd "full" season. Then again, he already had a tryout winning two competitions in his first "half" of a season, and he blew the FA Cup, and continue not winning anything in the next season (his first "full" season). So result wise in terms of trophies, you have to ask. Sure, he got many good stats, is that enough?
The football from the previous two managers are terrible, and yet Ole's football is slightly better.
Is that enough?
If we say both of that are enough, then how much we're falling free fall into embracing lower and lower and lowest standards.
If we say those are signs (especially the stats) then we are finally reducing it to just stats. Why not actual trophies and high class football? Also other things that are used to support Ole, as a beating sticks to Ole-outs, such as "Ole improves the players" are already expiring isn't it this season.
The only good thing left are the stats and momentary wins and draws in high profile games. Until when is the question? Even the "Ole made good transfers" is already under threat.
