How many points will we win from our next 13 PL games?

We definitely need to win 4 of the next 5 for a start. That includes the bottom three teams in the league.

Cautiously optimistic that we can get 9-10 wins of the 13 games. Ralfy's at the wheel.

Norwich (a) - draw
Brentford (a) - lose (always lose away to a promoted team that’s never been in the Prem)
Brighton (h) - win
Newcastle (a) -draw
Burnley (h) -draw (Burnley keeper due his annual worldie)
Wolves (h) - win
Villa (a) - lose (Gerrard)
West Ham (h) - draw
Burnley (a) - win
Southampton (h) - draw
Leeds (a) - win
Watford (h) - win
City (a) - lose

Pessimism, even with Rangnick in charge.

20 points

Lots of script writing games where we normally end up on the losing side and there’s a happy ending for the ABU community.

Brentford away feels like the most nailed on dropped points outside the top 4.

They’ll have been eyeing that fixture up even years before they were promoted. Stadium will be rocking and you know every one of those feckers will play the game of their lives.

Think we'll go on a good run, expecting somwhere between 27 - 33 points. Over the course of that fixture list, we'll have Varane, Shaw, Pogba and Cavani all returning, so we should only get stronger from here in theory.

I would be surprised if he does better than Ole in his first 14 games. Hope so though. Come on Ralf.

Pressing is entirely dependent on the front players executing it perfectly or close to perfectly. If front 2 and midfield can do the necessary to apply the right pressure, it wouldn't matter if there's gaping holes in behind.
Yes but if they can't then it will matter quite a lot. Especially with a keeper who stays on his line.

In the same way that everyone targeted McFred's inability to screen the defense, they will now target this. We just have to be robust about how long it will take to get right and not freak out if we lose a few games and finish 9th. But if we do much better then great.

I think we will win the next 12 in succession before drawing with City. So 37 points from the next 39.

Norwich (a)
Brentford (a)
Brighton (h)
Newcastle (a)
Burnley (h)
Wolves (h)
Villa (a)
West Ham (h)
Burnley (a)
Southampton (h)
Leeds (a)
Watford (h)
City (a)
If we do that, jeez look out . Leeds away is a toughie and Villa, but anything over 30pts would be great.

Less than 30. We are not that good or consistent to do better than that.

34 points from 39. We'll have played 28 games and have 58 points and we will be in 3rd position in the table one point ahead of Chelsea.

We all love United
What’s done is done so we should be looking at bagging all 9 points before we go to City and i think we will. Leeds away might be difficult but their naive defence gives me hope
