I do wish Jose would stick Rashford and Martial on the park at the same time, just once, but c'est la vie. It's a very good side, still.
That's the ace up our sleeve I guess. Having one of them to bring on against knackered defenders is such a psychological advantage, and it's worked great so far.I do wish Jose would stick Rashford and Martial on the park at the same time, just once, but c'est la vie. It's a very good side, still.
Ha! Got you!Guilty. I have the tea lady on snapchat.
Again, until Zlatan is available on the bench, it's difficult to start a hard game with both, because we'd have no attacking options to change the course of the game.I do wish Jose would stick Rashford and Martial on the park at the same time, just once, but c'est la vie. Do Mkhi and Lingard not count as attacking options?Again, until Zlatan is available on the bench, it's difficult to start a hard game with both, because we'd have no attacking options to change the course of the game.

Mata not getting subbed? Crazy talk! That's a solid lineup. Lingard over Rashford because he's more defensively minded and probably better from a tactical viewpoint (my summary at least), but if we go a couple up, Rashford and Martial might play 30mins together on opposite wings. Though I suspect if Rashford comes on it'll be for Martial and likewise Mkhitaryan for Lingard.
They sure don't count as forwards. Nor do they scare any defense with their speed or physicality.Do Mkhi and Lingard not count as attacking options?

But Martial and Rashford never play as forwards. They literally replace each other on the wing. They sure don't count as forwards. Nor do they scare any defense with their speed or physicality.

Not always, for instance, against Leicester at home, Rashford got subbed in and played on the right for 10' while Martial was on the left, and I think we scored then because they could deal with the new speed on the right then. But Martial and Rashford never play as forwards. They literally replace each other on the wing.
Dude, I think you know the answer to that question.
Would you count on Miki or Lingard to score goals for us, if at 70 minutes we are at a 0-0 scoreline?
Martial and Rashford are fantastic off the bench and usually deliver. Lingard is pretty useless and Miki is out of form.
Anymore.?good news. He doesn't deserve to start anymore. It's been a while since he doesn't.
But then.. why not play them both on the left and right from the start? Instead of just ten minutes? Not always, for instance, against Leicester at home, Rashford got subbed in and played on the right for 10' while Martial was on the left, and I think we scored then because they could deal with the new speed on the right then.
Don't think so.Is this supposedly the end of Jose trust in Mikhi ?

I hope so, we need better if we are to get to where we want.
Truly uninspiring that the alternative is Lingard though, just highlights how important investment on the RW will be for us in the summer.
Why the downer on Lingard, he is one of our own, we should be supportive toward them!
Welbeck started games for us under Sir Alex.So am i supposed to exaggerate his quality and performance because he is one of our own?
He isn't good enough for what we aspire to be, he wouldn't start for any of the other top 6 teams and he shouldn't for us.
He's not great but neither is the guy he is replacing. So am i supposed to exaggerate his quality and performance because he is one of our own?
