Looks like I've pissed off a lot of people.

Might have some punishment coming my way guys.

Looks like some people don't take this view.

It doesn't matter though. It was worth it. I've never had so much fun on here!

so...what's going on?? who are the latest victims?
I'm still waiting for some people to respond.

Just sent one out now, I have a couple big ones in the making but won't reveal them until it's done.

I'm determined to get that 'rubber, stick, glue' one to work as well.

Do you have an internet permit to post here?

Our records show that you haven't.

What do you mean by internet permit?
pert said:
You need to have a permit from CITSAPS, the internet posting organization, to post anywhere on the internet.

Have you even applied for your posting permit yet?
They're so thick it's unreal!

EP by Operation Ivy
Released : 1988 CD: 1991
Recorded September 1987
Genre Ska Punk/Ska-core
Length 10:31
Label Lookout
Producer(s) Operation Ivy
Operation Ivy chronology
Hectic
(1988) Energy
(1989)
Hectic was the debut EP by the seminal Ska/Punk band Operation Ivy. It is credited as one of the first records in the Skacore genre. First it was released by itself, then later released with their only LP Energy. Larry Livermore (founder of Lookout! records) has said that Lookout was formed solely to release an Operation Ivy record. This is obviously not true and was only said to emphasize Operation Ivy's importance in Lookout! Records' catalog.
Recording and style
According to Lookout!'s website, Hectic was recorded in a shabby recording studio on an Autumn afternoon. It was recorded and mixed in a matter of days. Hectic was one of the first records to combine Hardcore, and Ska, and one of the first, if not the first, Ska records to not include a horn section.
Influence
Hectic is often overshadowed by Energy, mainly because Hectic is included on the second release of Energy. However, Hectic is widely regarded as the first ska punk album.
Personnel
Jesse Michaels - Lead vocals
Tim Armstrong (credited as Lint) - Guitar, backing vocals
Matt Freeman (credited as Matt McCall) - Bass, backing vocals
Dave Mello - Drums, backing vocals
Operation Ivy and Larry Livermore - Producers

Hello Hectic, been busy I see

How's the uni course going?
Very busy indeed mate.

How are you? Haven't spoken to you in a bit.

The uni course went alright. I'm on a 3-month end of term break at the moment so I'm back in Milton Keynes.

not bad - i have a stack of law papers to mark by next Friday, so i'm pretty swamped with work

hence me cutting down on the caf usage - it is far, far too addictive!

oh, and keep up the good work with the newbies, as i've been getting random PM's from ones i know asking me whether the 'tasks' they have been set were similar to the ones you gave me

i told them they were getting off lightly

I know your games you prick, you and your mate King Eric. I've seen your thread trying to play pranks on the newbies so the joke is over you fecking fool. Get a life and pull yourself away from RedCafe from the 20 hours you spend on it each day.
Hectic said:
Actually it's 21 hours.

Newbies getting angry these days.

I'm changing my style on things. Too many of my new plans can't work because the newbies know me now. I've got a brilliant idea though, just need to get the nod from the mods.

Could somebody please briefly summarise the events of this thread for me? I seem to have missed it.

Cheers.
