It's not like Ole forced Lukaku out of the club. Lukaku talked about playing in Italy before Ole signed for us. Lukaku talked about him hoping for Serie A play someday in the future. After Ole took over and during the summer Lukaku did what he could to get that transfer through. I'm pretty sure his next move was a full-on Odemwingie - turning up at San Siro, signing for either of the Milan teams.
Lukaku will score - he will always score, but compared to any top striker in the world, he's not good enough offensive to not contribute in high pressing. Lukaku isn't creative. He can hardly dribble. He's not good enough to play those one-twos we'd like to see more of. He's surprisingly weak as a target man, despite his size - mostly because of his first touch often force a tackle as his 2nd touch. When he gets the ball under control, with his back against the opponent's goal, he's not technical enough to do much more than passing it backward. This might sound a bit harsh, but I'll miss Fellainis impact in the game more than I'm gonna miss Lukaku. I was never Fellainis greatest fan, but he left his heart on the field. And his elbows. Every time.
