It’s an international break, nothing going on all weekend and they decide to have all the good games at the same time. Brilliant

Exactly. Of all the times they could ave selected, they put all the good games at exact same time. As if it were some kind of competition

Was just having a discussion about this earlier, all games today, nothing tomorrow, Sunday or Monday, then lots on Tuesday at the same time. I don't mind international breaks if I can actually watch the games. I am having to record the Germany/Spain game as it clashes with England. Will watch England U-21 tomorrow. Then I am recording Russia/France off MUTV on Tuesday, watching England and recording Spain/Argentina. Then watching Germany/Brazil on Wednesday.

I hate a weekend with no big games. Why couldn't they stagger the games over the whole weekend?

Pickford

Trippier Gomez Stones
Walker Ox Henderson Rose
Sterling Lingard
Rashford

?

or maybe Trippier and Walker swapped given the numbers.

That is a bit underwhelming. I would have given the likes of Maguire etc a game. Maybe it will be the usual mass changes at half-time.

Might watch Germany v Spain. Should be more entertaining than the England game.

Not sure why Walker is playing at CB, get Maguire or even one of the new guys in there.

I guess he may deputise (unlikely) here at some point, but ah well just a friendly, so let's see how it goes.

I think I'll watch the Germany Spain match instead of England. Why are these games on at the same time ffs? Even Argentina Italy is a decent game.

What a wierd line up.

What half decent international team would be worried if they come up against a central midfield of Ox/Henderson.

None.

Not my lineup either. Would have liked to see a midfield with Gündogan, Kroos and Khedira.

And I do not understand Löw's love for Draxler.
Reus is not fit yet and we know Sané is great. Maybe just to see how good Draxler is?

Surely a 3-5-2 from England?

Trippier - Stones - Gomez
Walker - Chamberlain - Lingard - Henderson - Rose
Sterling - Rashford

3 at the back. This is the legacy that Conte will leave behind. He may have had a difficult season this year but he reintroduced this formation into English football and showed how to make it work. Now everyone is using it. He deserves a lot of credit IMO.

3421 is what England have been doing of late.

Chelsea are the only top team who really use it anymore in the league. England started using it after Spurs started (probably to try and suit Dele, Dier, Kane and the other Spurs players) but since then Spurs shifted from 3421 to 4231.

Let's see what we'll do against Portugal. Excited for this game.
