So you would sack a manager who is doing a good job to replace him with a manager fired for not doing his smart arse?
Bit of a short sighted way of looking at it, isn't it?

He has done well when it comes to recruiting players but I don't know why he didn't push harder for a CM and a forward. Also, although the football we play is better then the shite under Mourinho, we still play pretty boring football. So it's a mixed bag for me and personally have doubts about Ole's ability as a manager to take us to where we want to be. But say someone like Poch becomes available, I think we should go for it because there are no other good managers available if Ole doesn't meet expectations.I want to stick with Ole. Considering his player recruitment acumen, I'm excited to see what happens in another transfer window next summer. Don't expect any business to be done in winter unless we are desperate.

Agreed.
Poch finishes ahead of Liverpool in his first 4 seasons. It wasn't till Klopp got 400m+ to spend that pool started finishing ahead of Spurs.

A genuine top class manager who has done very well with a young team on a very tight budget. He carries himself well and believes in giving youth a chance. Especially considering the lack of top class manager out there, Poch should very much be on our radar. People here think that we should say no to Poch but the truth is Poch will probably say no to us because of the situation the club is in,not just on the field but off the field as wellA manager like what?
If he was doing a bad job it would be worth considering but so far He has cleared out players everyone on here wanted us to get rid of, the players he has brought in have been our best 3 players so shows promise for further recruitment and above all we could be 3rd in the table tomorrow and some would argue should have a few more points on the board.

This. I think Ole’s okayish play at the wheel. Maybe not the best results but got rid of deadwood (slowly). Secured a few decent signings. But we need to be more ruthless and if a manager like poch becomes available, we do everything in our power to get him on board. The likes of Juventus PSG and Bayern have let top managers go to get a better one. Plus Poch won’t be fired, plus Ole isnt doing a particularly good job nor is he a top manager, Poch is.
Christ. You would only ever think about replacing a manager if he's doing a bad job?
You do realise managing Manchester United, isn't like a job at tesco stacking shelves - where the difference between not doing a bad job and someone capable of doing a great job is negligible?

Learn from our mistake with klopp.
Klopp is a chequebook manager. He spend the second most in Germany when he was there.Poch is a better manager than Ole but wtf is this rubbish with, mistake with klopp... Are people that desperate that they think Poch is anywhere near Klopp (One at Dortmund)?
I don't really think Ole is doing a good job nor do I think he'll have done well by the end of the season, and Poch is clearly a far better manager so... Yes?
Or maybe no and then we can have another Klopp situation.
Love for a manager whose team chokes every time they're anywhere near something good is amusing but its not his fault..... (insert other people to blame)Klopp is a chequebook manager. He spend the second most in Germany when he was there.
Poch is outspent by Everton,West Ham etc.
Let seen how Poch would get on if he could buy players for world record fees in there positions.
You want me to argue that he's a better manager than Ole? Are you insane?Still waiting for someone to present some fact why Poch is better manager? I'm not saying that he is or not. I just want to see how someone could come to that knowing that Poch has won absolutly 0 as a manager. And you can argue that he has a team that at least should have won some silverwere.
Funny that people never want to discuss things like trophies and league finishes when it comes to Poch. Sorry pal but those things are relevant to the biggest jobs. Proving you actually have what it takes to win is as important as anything. The players brought in by Levy have been excellent, so he should be judged on what he is capable of acheiving with those players, and not just his ability to assemble them. There are plenty of progressive managers out there, the ones that do well at the big clubs are the ones that can combine that philosophy with the ability to win things.A genuine top class manager who has done very well with a young team on a very tight budget. What? We do? Feck, nobody told me!

Jose is getting thatSurely Madrid bound? Zidanes not lasting til Xmas.
Is he doing a better job than Poch when he first went to Spurs?

Hmm, plenty do, especially when riling Spurs fans and Amadeus!Funny that people never want to discuss things like trophies and league finishes when it comes to Poch. Is he doing a better job than Poch when he first went to Spurs?
Just look at both of their managerial histories and go from there.I want you to present some facts why he is. What has Poch won as a manager? He have/had squad full of internationals and few so called stars. He is a good manager but don't overestimate him.

We're things really looking great, yes CL final was a great achievement but it was clear Spurs not only peaked and stagnated but declined as far as week by week consistency was concerned.Football is a crazy game. Months ago he was in a Champions League final with it all looking great for Spurs.
Going off reports he doesn't seem settled, rumours of him leaving coupled with meetings with Levy etc.
Like we did when we sacked LvG moments after he won the cup and appointed Mourinho - worked a treat.
We'll see, Poch got 14 points from his first 11 games before things started to turn.Is he doing a better job than Poch when he first went to Spurs?
yes?Is he doing a better job than Poch when he first went to Spurs?
Is the league the same as it was back then ?
Lets ignore beating Bayern to their leagues and cups....He lost the final and poch did what?...... I am not even Klopp's biggest fan but you're deluding yourself if you think poch is anywhere near Dortmund Klopp forget about pool.Klopp lost the CL.
They then went out and spent big.
You just cant compare the backing he has got compared to Poch.
