Good news, weird things they have been doing with the La Liga TV rights in the UK and US. Quality of the division from top to bottom is very high at the moment. Would be good if a UK channel showed the Cup games as well.
This is so so nice. I saw the United FA cup game on BBC on Monday and it felt so nice to watch football on live TV after watching so many streams recently

Eleven sports shit the bed on the contracts. They had to give up some of their other packages as well to premier sports.

It's just one game a week on ITV4 by the look of it, and they will promote the Premier and Eleven sports streaming packages via the ITV game I think, still a good idea. Tweet was misleading I guess, hence removal.

That's good news. Not as good as the idea Eleven Sports and Premier Sports had gone bust and had to sell all the rights to real channels which I was hoping for. But still, a good thing.

Great way to get the league more coverage. Would be nice if there was a similar agreement for the Bundesliga/Serie A/Ligue 1 to show one game a week on terrestrial TV over here as well.

If you pay for HD with Sky then yes. If not, then no.
As long as it doesn't affect You've Been Framed re-runs, I don't mind them showing matches from an uncompetetive league.

Really good pick up for ITV, I enjoyed their Bundesliga highlights and was disappointed when that ended on a Monday night.
Is the sort of channel where you can stick a match on a Sunday evening without much hassle as they usually have Snooker or Darts on at that time.
Wonder if things go well they might try to secure rights full time for next season? Imagine sticking El Classico on ITV 1, would get some really good viewing figures I reckon.
They have second picks so won't be showing that this season.
