From another thread:

Interesting fact about Jurgen Kohler is in all his games with Juve or Germany, Marco v Basten never scored against him. What a defender he was...

(I pretty sure about it, correct me if wrong)

Must be many fans of him on the cafe at my age (35)

MYTH!!! During an epic heads and volley session Marco launched a stinging volley past him. It is well documented.

I would guess:

15 milan vs. juve
5 holland vs. deutchland

so 20 perhapes...

Jürgen Kohler - nick-named "Fusballgott" after his famous off-the-line clearance against Cantona at Old Trafford in the Champions' League semi-final 1997.

What a defender he was! A shame he was sent off in his last game of his career against Feyenoord in the UEFA Cup final 2002.

Top player.

Excellent the year Dortmund won the CL. Was superb against United everytime he played. Great natural defender.

Probably the standout man-marking centre-half of his era. And it was a strong era for defenders: he'd be a cut above anybody playing right now.
Agreed, I can't think of a central defender today as good as Kohler was. Vidic being the closest I think...
