That Iraq are a legitimate target because they MIGHT give weapons to terrorists in the future. Sounds a bit like clutching at straws to me.

Especially since after alot of digging no credible link has been found between Iraq and Al-Qaeda. Anyway, according to Raoul this is all irrelevant since it indicates your objection to a democratic and liberated Iraq. <img src="graemlins/houllier.gif" border="0" alt="[Houllier]" />

He's a smart guy who understands the new world order and the unique nature of the post 9/11 world. A true straw clutch would be the assumption that terrorists aren't working on a nuclear device that could be detonated somewhere in the US.

And that has what to do with Iraq?

No link between the two is required. Iraq is a rogue state that is run by a dictator. In the new post 9/11 world, that's enough.

Hey, take it easy. The forthcoming war is clearly an immoral and unjustifiable one perpetrated by an imperialist and arrogant US and shouldn't be allowed to happen. But if there's one thing we can agree on it's the hope the fat cnut gets what's coming to him.

;)

Yes I admit it must be clearly immoral and unjustifiable to all the mildly delusional, ex drug using leftists out there.

I hope to have many debates with you about North Korea once Iraq is out of the way. ;)

Iraq was on the front burner long before the N Korea situation flared up. ;)

Well you have failed in two thread now to justify this war with anything other than cynical excuses about human rights and the like, which are so laughable considering the points i've outlined to you. You've also stated the usual 'because we can' sort of response. I love the way you people like to stereotype all outside opposition in a feeble attempt at discrediting their arguments, as opposed to having a proper debate. So groupthink.

I've succeeded in every thread ever discussed on this topic. Trouble is, that you have a different point of view and are getting upset because you don't have the substance to change my mind. Come up with some good points, minus the predictable USA bashing that euroleftists are notorious for, and we might have a sensible debate. Unfortunately your views seem to be so bizarre and unrealistic, that at some point one just has to resort to humour and mockery. ;)

Brilliant.

Why haven't you replied to my post in the other thread? (the post about dictators)

I didn't know you asked me a question in another post. I look forward to them with great anticipation.

BTW. The fact that you're asking me why I haven't answered your question in another thread, when you've repeatedly slithered out of answering mine in this one, is farcically ironic. ;)

Thats because I like to think out my positions before posting in threads, instead of simply posting to be apart of the discussion. If I'm wrong then I'll be the first to admit it. Political issues are always subjective. I happen to think I'm right based on my understanding of the facts. Others feel the opposite. Its the beauty of debate.

Is it that same question I've kept telling you is too simplistic for the problem? I think my reply to the starter of this thread highlighted this to be the case.

I have to say I'm with JSV on this one, the US war on Iraq is still completely unjustified as far as I'm concerned, N.Korea and Pakistan should be the targets...both are WILLING to use their weapons...

The Iraq situation may have been around for quite a few years, but they have done NOTHING...
and more importantly have NOT shown a desire to use weapons of Mass Destruction (if they have any), whereas N.Korea and Pakistan have done so.

Very unjustified....
