I think if we perform very well in these remaining games it would play a part in convincing him to the point of even forcing a move.

Don't think that this is as cut and dried as people think. As usual, the selling team will be trying to pull our trousers down for a whopping fee......this will go on and on for ages if it's played out through the media. God, I hope we've learned something from the chaos of the last few windows. Let's hope Ed doesn't go in low balling at the beginning - let's hope its a done and dusted deal well ahead of time with a well-structured deal put in place so we can quickly move onto target no 2 early

We would get target 2 first if there is one while we dilly dally for Sancho

It's hard to say no to a club that is currently improving, has a financial strength to compete in the market even during COVID (capable of cutting the gaps between the club and it's competitors) and has Bruno, Pogba, Rashford & Martial.

Just imagine that kind of creative move with the likes of Rashford or Martial on the end of it...

*wrong video but it was a cheeky back heel touch in the box to a streaking Brandt

Do you think we can get Sancho without CL to offer him?

I personally think we will miss out again on CL.
Yeah, think so. He wants out and we’re the only ones bidding atm. And I think he , like everyone else, can see the potential in our team and how well he would fit in.

He might be wise to stay another season at Dortmund, playing every week. Next summer he'll have only one year left on his contract and will likely be much cheaper and have more suitors/options. He knows every top club in the game would like to sign him but some/most of them can't afford to this summer.

No one is going to spend circa 100m on him and not play him every week. He isn't just a kid. He's already one of the best in his position in Europe.

You think if United signed him this summer for 90 + Million, he'd sit on the bench?

What if he is already satisfied with where he could be going this summer? This atuff is stupid. We have been reported front-runners to sign him from long before the pandemic. This assumption that he’s some poor victim who may be forced to join United is absurd.

Yeah, but alot can happen in a year. His numbers may drop or he can be injured.
It is always a gamble.

Poor guy being forced to one of the biggest teams in Europe, wearing their most iconic shirt number, and earning a huge pay rise in a city he clearly has ties in.

What an awful option.

Looking at the team the poster supports, it’s no surprise why he has posted that absolute pile of guff.

All I'm saying is that he'd probably double his options if he waited a year. Obviously if his top preference of new club can afford to and are willing to spend the money to sign him right now that'll be what happens. If not, he might want to wait a year before leaving to see if his top choice becomes an option.

Maybe his top choice is Manchester United? Last summer it was reported by David Ornstein that Sancho preferred to move to United if he returns to England.

Opposition fans said this last year as well.
Go back and check, its all there. Yet we are still over whelming favourites to sign them despite what 8 months worth of Chelsea and Liverpool fans posts say

Look he can't join Liverpool. The language will always be a problem. United are probably top choice.

Madrid have Hazard and a serious hard on for Mbappe, Barca want Neymar back. Bayern want Sane, Liverpool would have to sell one of Mane and Salah but to whom. Would Juve have the finances and want cm's , would he be willing to got to psg probably not on both. This leaves us and city but reports claim he doesn't want to play for them. There aren't as many options as people think there are.

Sancho wants to return to England. It's between us Chelsea and City I think. If Chelsea think they can spend money on Havertz then they can spend on Sancho. He would play on the right while Ziyech would play AM. City can afford him too. With Sane leaving he can play on the Right with Sterling on the left. B.Silva will go to midfield and replace D.Silva

It`s a big IF with Chelsea though. If they really wanted Sancho they`d have made a serious effort to get him by now but they haven`t priorities elsewhere and at City he`ll be facing the same problem that made him leave in the first place. Sterling is their poster boy and you probably haven`t noticed but Mahrez has been having a stellar season once again he`ll be forced to compete when he wants to start. At Utd he has zero competition on the RW. Of course if he stays in a year things could change but as of now we are the overwhelming favorites and we have to take advantage of that.

There is a rumour going around Chelsea circles that Sancho wants Chelsea/London but the club are pulling a Bayern/Real on him. This means they want him to run down his contract with Dortmund while they build other areas of the squad in the mean time. It is probably nonsense but they all seem pretty convinced it is a likely scenario and that Sancho wants to move to London if he comes back as that is where his family is.

Problem with that theory is Sancho has two years left on his contract and Dortmund are definitely not going to allow that to happen as they were seriously burned by Lewandowski years back, right now Dortmund are posturing as they know it’s either sell this summer for a premium or half the price next summer as Sancho isn’t signing a new contract either way.

Kind of sounds like Chelsea fans trying to find a way in their mind of them signing Ziyech, Werner, Havertz AND Sancho so coming up with a theory to suit their own narrative. Reality is Liverpool can’t afford him unless they sell one of Salah or Mane, City don’t want him nor does Sancho want City and Chelsea have other priority positions whilst abroad Real want Mbappe, Barca want a Suarez replacement and Juve don’t even have half the money for Pogba let alone Sancho so we’re realistically the only genuine option this summer.

We’re not the pull we used to be after years of mediocrity but we’re still a big pull that’s heading in the right direction again, have money for big wages, offer a starting and starring role, have two of his best friends (Rashford and Gomes) already, a city he knows well and possible Champions League all next season and it’s clear to all he’s our number one target and really wanted by us.
