Sevilla are so lucky. Worst team we played this season and they somehow got everyone injured, Bruno suspended and scored two own goals. Must have some juju curse going for them.

They have somehow turned into our Spanish bogey team. Jammiest cnuts in the land, along with Sociedad, Betis, Villarreal and all the other Spanish twats we’ve had the misfortune to play over the years.

Poor De Gea. Now 8 games without a win against them he must think he’s jinxed.

I thought this thread was going to be about a Jimmy Saville tribute act

  • Rashford, one of the best players in the world this year injured going into the game.
  • Fernandes booked for absolutely nothing and misses the second leg.
  • Red card not given that would have been nailed on if it happens the other way.
  • Varane injured during the game.
  • Martinez injured during the game, with no subs left.
  • First goal flies in off two United players.
  • Second goal probably going out for a fecking throw in, and of course, finds a way to fly in off a United player.
How is it possible to be that jammy in one game of football?

It's actually surreal.

We're missing Garnacho who would have been a far more effective sub than Elanga as well

This was a team time wasting when it was 2-0 to us. It was honestly one of the worst excuses of an away performance I've seen this season and we've somehow finished the game with 10 men and chucked two in our own net

Unbelievable really. I didn't like our performance from last 15 minutes of first half until the end of the game but how the hell all this events happen in little over one half of one game? Can't believe it.

Don't think it was a red card for their player. But everything else... Wow.

Those were two of the worst goals I’ve ever seen.

This is really as jammy as it gets. We even got a bullshit yellow on Bruno which rules him out of the next game.

I'm not sure if they are more lucky for how things panned out in this leg or the injuries we'll have going into the second leg.

They'll beat us in the end. Whether over 90/120 minutes or on penalties, they'll win. We play Sociedad, Barca, Betis and of course we have to draw Sevilla next and drop the win in the most incredible fashion ever.

I haven't read the whole thread but after what this monster did, I hope the BBC establishment burn in hell with him for the way they protected him.

I read the thread title as Jimmy Saville. Was highly confused. (I am working a night shift so forgive me)

I missed the game. Quickly checked the result at half time, 2-0, was delighted, though to myself that I would check back later for the highlights and see something like 4-0.

Now we've lost Martinez and Varane. :(

Sevilla are shite too have nearly always been shite average at best. Not just against us they are just pure luck.

they are our biggest bogey team since Southampton at the dell.

two Old sayings you can beat a good team but not a lucky team — sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good

The law of equivalent exchange for the Fulham game. Surely Sevilla's luck will have to run out next week? The only crumb of comfort is that this wasn't a one legged tie like last time.
