I don't rate Lingard alot but he's got one of the nicest characters in football. A few years back he came to Malta with the academy to play against Hibs. Everyone was around what were thought to be the future stars of United (Pogba, Petrucci etc) but soon enough we all fell in love with this little guy, whose down to earth attitude and lovely character stole our heart. During the game some fans started chanting his name. He made sure he'll celebrate any goals he scored in front of them and to wave to us at every occasion. I was lucky to meet many United players in my time from Charlton to Best right to Robson, Beckham, Scholes, Pogba, Yorke, Berba, the Neville brothers and Jesse. I don't see myself particularly biased towards United however I think we've got, by far, the most down to earth players in the world.
It's the yoof, innit? I'm choosing to focus on the content. This is parody, written by a 13 year old, right? It’s Jesse so it’s unclear.

What wouldn't you do for someone who fosters and helps you achieve your dream? The man is unique. If you ever wonder why Fergie was just the best ever, you only have to listen to how players that know him talk.
People think he ruled with an iron fist, but it's clearly the opposite for 90% of the time. He genuinely loved and cared for his lads, and that's why they gave everything for him.
Lovely story, but he talks like he’s one of the inbetweeners!
He’s 26.
Am I being really fecking stupid?
That’s a parody, right? This thread reads like r/nosleep

All of the stories from this series read conversationally. I’m pretty sure someone just wrote down exactly what he said. You’ve heard him in interviews and on Instagram. This is how he talks and there isn’t really a problem with that.
I remember when I was like nine years old, I went into Tony Whelan’s office and I said, “Um, sir, can I start doing some weights? My grandad wants to know.”
And Tony was like, “No, son. You can’t.”
I said, “Oh, how come?”
He said, “Because you’re nine.”
tl:dr
Eric BantonaBants!
tl;dr: Granddad trained him as a kid. It was very hard for a scrawny boy to make it but Sir Alex believed in him. So now after all the hard work he's put in, he won't stop smiling because he loves being a United player and going to enjoy every bit of it.
