As long as we give him the transfer funds he's going to absolutely love being our manager. Both stints at Chelsea started going downhill when Abramovich stopped the cheque book

It's crazy to stop where we are and think of the contrast between where we were as a club (manager, squad, results, style of play, etc) just 3-4 months ago and now. Back in March and April the manager was getting boo'd and the watching United play was painful. Fans were wondering when/if LvG was going to get the boot and if so, was Giggs going to get the job or Mou. Now, I'm looking through the pages of the caf seeing JM in a United shirt talking about our recent signings of Ibra and Miki as well as daring to dream about a possible Pogba return to Old Trafford. What a turn around for this club! August is taking forever to get here!

Agree. The club is perfect for him. He wants control, he has it. He wants the main man behind the scenes to back him. He wants funds, he has it. He wants a stability, hopefully he has that too. Woodward and he will make the oerfect partnership. And if he gives is success, he will be afforded the goodwill that's deserved should he have a season that's slightly below par unlike Perez would. Provided he gets performances and results on the pitch that we expect (with the allowance of a little hiccup here and there) he's at the best club for him.

The only problem is that he signed some very strange (if not to say poor) players for Chelsea

The problem is always the same: the man is (too) intense! Just by listening to his (wonderful) first press-conference, one can sense that it's hard not to be tired of him after a while.
A lot of the top managers are like that, though. Sir Alex was intense. Guardiola is, too. The only one who always seems to be calm is Ancelotti but he's probably pretty different in the dressing room compared to the press box.

Couldn't care less what he is building for. Sick of building philosophies and building teams and transitions. I am all for a sustained club culture (like how SAF built our team) but right now we need results. We need an injection of trophies. We need players in their prime. We need to overpay players who have 3 months left in their contract if need be. Win the premier league and get back in the mix of top clubs!
Exactly right mate, we need to regain what we have been so badly missing these past 3 seasons..the Fear Factor. Forget all the crap about philosophies..blah blah ...lets get out there and KICK SOME ASS!!!!!

Mourinho will be our manager until he is 60. He will return us to the summit of Europe during that time.

He will also leave our squad in a better shape than SAF did.

None of his previous clubs were Manchester United.
By his Real Madrid' last year record, he won't be sacked here. We don't deny him transfer power like Chelsea, so doesn't see something similar happened neither. Can't see Mourinho leaves on his own since we're his biggest gig.

I believe that Jose is a United fan and has been at least for some years. This has been his dream job, I believe that is why he was restless no matter where he was, he had a little red devil forking his ass. I also think that it had something to do with Chelsea last season I think he was more interested in watching the situation with United and Van Gaal, and that led to him losing his focus. He seen his chance to finally become manager of United and he has got it. He has his dreamjob, it is "not a dream" to manage United it is a reality.

Jose has a big advante on the guys that came before him:

- Moyes came after SAF, an impossible task, and especially for a no-mark like him
- LvG was our first "proper" manager after SAF since Moyes doesn't count.

Mourinho comes in with a clean slate. A club and fanbase that largely has realized that the days of SAF dominance will never be repeated, and is so starved for success that we will celebrate a PL trophy like our first PL trophy and a CL trophy combined.

Some additional pressure on Mourinho due to his 'arch enemy' Pep managing the noisy neighbours, but all in all the slate is pretty clean for Mourinho to put his mark on this club.
