fecking hell, your head is where happiness goes to die.

Post of the year already.

Don't get him started on the Nevilles.
I wonder if, when debilish wakes up, the first thing he does is - open Red cafe, and type "Neville" in the search box, to see if some hapless soul was brazen enough to speak about the player in positive terms; stick his unlettered oar in and then rinse and repeat with other favorites from his list.
I just checked there, it was 17 in total, 9 in the 02-03 season and 8 in the 03-04 season. I remember him being ridiculed for taking ages to score his first goal. But when he came, he hardly ever started matches for many months, and was often only playing for 5,10,15 minutes when he came on as a sub. Peter Crouch was starting games regularly for Liverpool after he signed, and took a long while to score for Liverpool, and he seemed to get a lot less stick than Forlan.
Better not, your opinion on them and other United players is well documented. Not to mention the hilarious nicknames. So lets start about the Nevilles...

Disappointing that you don't.I don't have nicknames for the Nevilles but please go ahead.
Tell us everything you know, it's always a fascinating read. Don't forget Nicky Butt and Martin Ferguson, you haven't covered those anything like enough. So lets start about the Nevilles...
They were some dark days for sure. I'm going to see if I can find the matchday thread.I had forgotten about that game. Also notable for playing Roy Keane in central defence.
Man Utd: Howard, Silvestre, Gary Neville, Keane, Fortune, Miller, O'Shea, Djemba-Djemba, Giggs, Scholes, Smith.
Subs: Ricardo, Phil Neville, Bellion, Richardson, Forlan.
What a team. What a bench. Jose must have thought that this premier league was going to be a doddle.

This devillish is the guy who has a bizarre dislike of Paddy McNair I recall.
Bayern got their own share of iconic figures:@devilish .. chilax man. United are famous for their love of cult figures.. it is part of what makes our club special. It is probably just an english thing in general..
Solksjaer.. for example wouldn't be remembered by Madrid fans, but we idolise him.
Chico Hernandez, would be a nobody at Bayern.. and we couldn't get enough of him.
It is small time, but it is what makes this club special and I wouldn't change it for the world. There is a humility to United or english football sometimes that is very endearing, and it enriches the game rather than takes something away from it.. so I don't see the big deal and the need to whine about it.
I don't know why you try to explain the POV of someone you probably never met. It's perfectly fine just posting your own POV. By speculating about Mourinho's views on the matter it looks to me as if you are trying to validate your own POV through that and it doesn't really seem necessary.Believe me mate Im calm. I agree with what you said. My post was meant to try and explain Mou's POV too.
We have a fecking rock song about friggin' Roque Santa Cruz, which reached 32 in the German Single Charts...this really isn't just a Manchester thing.Bayern got their own share of iconic figures:

There's also a well received German film which revolves Party around the questions whether man should be pleasures by Mehmet Scholl sucking their dick...
Feck mate, appreciate your efforts, but now you went too far.
Continental thinking meets paid up, travelling match goer thinking. I often wonder whether we have a second trinity statue with oshea, forlan and micheal owen in it hidden somewhere.
Feck off with the O'Shea bollocks...he megged Figo and chipped Almunia ffs. Not to mention the winner at anfield
Why? What's wrong with the Neville's?Don't get him started on the Nevilles.
I'm not joking! Won prizes as well. Lammbock it's called. Just got a sequel.
Points in the bag, Jose chilling and the away fans bringing out the classics. Fabulous day.Loved this moment, fans were pulling out a load of classic chants.
Yeah, that makes sense. I did find it a bit weird/random and sent it over to a common friend so he passed it on to Diego (who always loved hearing it years after). It was odd to hear it over a decade later but it makes sense in that context.
Jesus man, that wouldn't fly on the continent. We have a fecking rock song about friggin' Roque Santa Cruz, which reached 32 in the German Single Charts...this really isn't just a Manchester thing.

No worries, we know sarcasm doesn't fly in Germany. This seems like a joke that escapes me, dare to explain?![]()
Bayern Munich is a team on the continent (mainland europe). So it's clearly not only us Brits who are in love with our cult heros, which goes against the entirety of devlishes stupid argument.

What a silly comment. You can understand his confusion. It's super weird and small time that we're still singing about Forlan.
Okay, that was too easy. Thought it was some British saying I didn't know about![]()
