Good use of VAR to give them the penalty for the 3-2.

In other news Bilbao is finishing 4th......:houllier::houllier::houllier::houllier::houllier:
Thought Villarreal has got themselves on a run. They are still in the relegation battle. Bilbao are showing good signs but they would need a lot of results to go in their favour to even get EL football. The club seem to be very happy with the manager which is good and he has got a good squad together.

Rayo played really well against Betis who are a really random team in terms of form.

Alas shows why team is getting relegated, miss loads of chances, finally score then miss more chances and simply can't hang onto a 1-0 so draw it is.

Zidane Jr starting in goal for Real Madrid. Courtois not in 18.

Ceballos and Llorente starting in midfield. Brahim Diaz in front three.

Not sure what all the mass resting of players is for unless Zidane just wants to look at which young players he can use more next season.

Luca Zidane shining right there. He doesn't look like a 183cm goalkeeper.

I think he wants Luca to be the 2d goalkeeper next season.
Apparently he is playing a very good season at Castilla, and now goal...

He was poorly positioned, not his fault on reflexes, but he leaves 1/3 of the goal totally exposed.
Cucho could've just scuffed the shoot or blazed it over. Nice powerful finish into the corner. Goal all on Nacho.

Edit: Benzema just demonstrated the art of scuffing a decent cross.

Maybe I'm being too hateful, but I don't think a goalkeeper should cover the goal like this.

Yeah he went near post as maybe he thought cross would be hit along six yard box.

Inside Huesca player looked up and saw Hernandez unmarked.

Definitely not a good position, but I'm not watching the game and I don't know what happened before this picture was taken.

Either way, seeing the team composition, it's pretty clear Zidane is treating this as a friendly and seeing if anybody stands out for next season.

Yeah, maybe the guy near post baited him. It's nothing to hang him for, but I just have in mind that he's playing while Navas and Courtois are being benched and not even called up, he needs to put an awesome performance and that start isn't too good.

At least Benzema is worse than him tonight.

1-1.

In fairness lovely turn from Benzema to set up the chance, even then he tried his best to miss before Isco finished it.

Benzema is just an acquired taste for me. No doubt he's a fine player but I've always felt he gets an easier ride from their fans/press when he's in poor form compared to some of their other stars.

Have I heard right? The lad in goal for Madrid, his name is Zidane? Any relation?

Yes nice bit of nepotism there

Very good game this. Huesca not looking like they're bottom of the league.

Huesca knocking the ball around nicely.

Bottom half of La Liga is technically much better than what you get in the premier league bottom half.

Happy coincidence surely, it's a very common name in Spain.

If Madrid expect Militão to singlehandedly solve their shit defending they're in for a reality check next season

I'd buy that for a dollar. It's not even comparable!
