That.. is.. hypnotizzzing.
We pick Neymar. He's not only a massively threatening attacker. He also has nice hair. Managed to justify the ridiculous amount of hype very well and is currently a part of one of the best attacking lines in history. I would post a picture, but I'm at work, so I will edit it in later.

Do people reckon Messi and Diego can work together? I was surprised people thought Platini and Messi would be fine together. I always thought Messi is better with someone like Iniesta who is not an overt number 10 and allows Messi to takeover and influence the game that position.

He would never have made it back to them for round two though once 30 other players had been picked so all relative to what your tactic is i guess.

I'm not sure, actually. But I'm inclined to doubt it.
If we presuppose that Messi gets to play his natural game as much as possible (not giving him a clearly restricted role of some kind), the reason Platini and Messi could work is that Platini could plausibly be doing much of his orchestrating work from a fairly deep position - in other words, not really as a No 10: He'd be doing something similar (not really, but sort of) to what Xavi does in what you'd call an ideal set-up for Messi.
Maradona is different. His natural tendency would see him operate in a way that would interfere with Messi's game to a greater extent. Maradona was often at his most dangerous when he roamed into - well - any position in the final third to work his magic. I don't see that as ideal, really.

But then that's not optimum usage of Platini either. In fantasy teams, you will have to ask some players to compromise their roles but I don't think that was worth it with Platini. Better off with another CM
