Chelsea signing yet another positionally ambiguous attacker would be too much for me to handle

I don't think so personally but let's see
Would he even make your first team? He's best on the left and that's where Son and Perisic play. You don't play with a number 10 either.

Liverpool have some extraordinary luck. Every team they play have their best player out.

Leicester, Madison injured.
Brentford, Toney injured.
Brighton, Trossard dropped.
Chelsea, João Felix suspended.

Who would you like?
I know that Conte really wants Zaniolo but whether we can get a deal sorted I dont know as we failed in the summer. Basically I just want Conte to get backed with the players he actually wants rather than be given ones he doesn't really rate.

Not sure about Trossard as a player personally, he had that purple patch and looked great but that looks more like a bit of a one off rather than an indication he is a top player.
You guys want him don't you?

Certainly need a ball carrier in central areas given how often Kuluveski has been injured.

Strange time to leave Brighton though. Been toiling away in mid table and he wants a move when they've got a pretty good chance of finishing top 6.

He seems to me like a system player on a purple patch. Brighton system currently make many players look way better than they actually are, I don't think he's cut to make it in a top team. But he'd be a really good option for a medium team.

Would be a handy cover if he could play on the right. Especially now after tanking his value with that statement.

We might be looking at him.but I doubt he is a top target, more someone to fall back on if we don't get who we really want.

It was worse a couple of seasons ago. It was Iike the above but repeatedly all season.

Annoyingly consistent every time I've seen him, wreaks havoc. Would love him here if the price was right

Deserves an opportunity at a big club, I think he will do very well there and will be relatively cheap. It also leaves a good chunk of available funds for their summer business, having missed out on the Ukrainian. Arsenal are going from strength to strength unfortunately.

Can he play on the right? I would take him at United if so but we haven't got a pot to piss in. Entirely our fault really when the manager decided only one player would do and half of our budget was spent on that dud.

I was checking his age and Im happy hes 28, we need some experience, we need some depth, and we need premier league proven. The best thing about him is he looks like he can play in any of the 4 forward positions, and hes put us to the sword a few times for Brighton so at least he ll stop doing that. Get this done, relatively cheap too so we can still go for the likes of Rice in the summer, happy if this gets over the line.

They need someone because if Martinelli gets crocked they’re fecked on that left side. Arsenal’s squad depth is pretty poor and it’ll be something they absolutely need to address next season when they’ll likely be playing in the CL.

So when’s Todd going to step in with a crazy bid? :p

Hopefully we don't have to go too high on the fee but clearly the cheapest and fairly reliable option for a January boost. Curious to see if he can replicate his start of the season's form and won't be cursed by the Brighton template.

This comment would be accurate if Emile Smith Rowe didnt exist.

He's incredibly average, in all honesty.
He's our Weghorst signing. Is he going to be POTS ? No, but he should be a decent cover on the cheap.
