His hair doesn’t look anything like Coolio’s, not even a little bit.Wait. You think saying his hair reminded me of Coolio is offensive?
You are very easily baffled. His hair doesn’t look anything like Coolio’s, not even a little bit.
Your comment wasn’t the worst but it was completely baffling nonetheless.
I’m still baffled, especially since Coolio wore cornrows for most of his non-bald existence. You are very easily baffled.
It might not be the same, but I havent seen Coolio in a long time. Saying it reminded me of Coolios hair shouldnt be even remotely controversial...
Don’t think I said anything about offensive but it’s amazing to see these stereotypes like crack addict, wakanda etc. thrown around so casually based on a haircut.Wait. You think saying his hair reminded me of Coolio is offensive?
To be honest I think it's stupid and a bit immature. He's a bloody grown man with a teenagers hair cut and like some others in the team, I question their mentality at times. Shouldn't matter but for me it says a lot. We lack Men in this team and there are too many that are mentally child-like.
Thinking about them you mean, kris kross were a duodamn it. You cracked the code! I was thinking about him but couldn't remember his name.
Yeh, you're right. But they have one with similar hairdo. Many of those boys bands, I just remember the band's names.Thinking about them you mean, kris kross were a duo
Looks more like Bubbles with all the weight loss.Proposition Joe had a similar style at some point during The Wire. Smalling is a good bit slimmer than Prop Joe, obviously....
I wouldn't worry about that. Top athletic performance is entirely possible on a vegan diet, particularly one as micromanaged as Smalling's will be.I like it, I've seen him in person many times and he always looks good, I'd be more concerned by his alleged conversion to veganism.
Seems he’s playing better, without injuries being a vegan.I like it, I've seen him in person many times and he always looks good, I'd be more concerned by his alleged conversion to veganism.
I believe so, but it's still quite a recent lifestyle change, I'm aware that other sportspeople have successfully managed to perform at a high level whilst maintaining a vegan lifestyle, but is it something for a central defender in a very physical league? I guess if a boxer can do it then a footballer can. I just find it hard to imagine having witnessed first hand the volume of food footballers can eat.Seems he’s playing better, without injuries being a vegan.
I apologise. I knew beforehand that I maybe took it too far - hence the "sorry for the racism" part - but I posted it anyway because I wouldn't have been offended if the joke (and it was a joke) had hypothecially been at my expense (I am from the middle east, so let's assume somebody would have posted "It's like he remembered he is a terrorist")It's probably a lot less offensive than this "contribution" to the conversation:
Most people know him from Keenan and Kel and the music video for Gangsta's Paradise so that's the available memory. Also, comparing Smalling's hair to his is fine. How many celebrities you expect us to know with that sort of hairstyle?I’m still baffled, especially since Coolio wore cornrows for most of his non-bald existence.
The grouping of black hairstyles that deviate from the ‘norm’, is the controversial part, as if they’re all the same and black people suddenly look like each other.
It’s predictable.
Like I said, yours isn’t the worst.
His hair was in cornrows on both Kenan and kel, and the gangstas paradise video, completely different. Most people know him from Keenan and Kel and the music video for Gangsta's Paradise so that's the available memory. A bunch of guys in the NFL have gone vegan in the last few years, and it's had a positive impact on their fitness. For whatever reason, cutting red meat seems to have a positive effect on tendinitis, which Smalling has said he's continually suffered from and played through.I believe so, but it's still quite a recent lifestyle change, I'm aware that other sportspeople have successfully managed to perform at a high level whilst maintaining a vegan lifestyle, but is it something for a central defender in a very physical league? We often compare things to that which are familiar to us. It's perfectly reasonable to discuss in addition to complimenting his hair. His hair was in cornrows on both Kenan and kel, and the gangstas paradise video, completely different.
I don’t expect you to know that many people with Smalling’s hairstyle, so how about complimenting his hair, without having to compare him to somebody else?
Rooney had locks? Most discussed hairstyle since Rooney went from slaphead to full locks.
why are you surprised? I knew exactly the responses we were going to get when I clicked this thread. Middle aged white men being asked to discuss an afro hairstyle. Some of the replies in this thread, I have no words
