LOTR are better made films, Return of the King is up there as one of my favourite films of all time, the CGI still holds up well to this day, the acting was top notch and the writing was some of the best put to film.
That said, laser sword wielding space wizards has always been far, far cooler to me and I think a generally more interesting concept all round.
