C'mon MLS do your thang
He will probably stay due to the weird state of the current transfer market. Somehow, transfers will be affected by what's going on with the virus.Young was still being picked though. He was also captain until he left. I dont think Sanchez will play that much. In fact it wouldnt surprise me if he doesnt go out on loan again next seasonand we only pay half his wages again, no matter what is said now.
They can fire him. Anybody can be kicked out of any job in the world. But they already paid a huge amount of money for Mourinho to leave...There's absolutely nothing we can do about that. If he wants to stay he'll stay.
Perhaps he could be a back up CF. His link up play isn't terrible, so having Fernandes behind him, with Rashford and Sancho either side might work.
No way...he be an absolute bust in MLS, even worse than Gerrard.C'mon MLS do your thang
Woodward sneaks in, wearing a BalaclavaChange the password to the entrance at carrington and dont tell him, leave his stuff in a bin bag at the end of the driveway
He was already in decline so that contract bordered to the ridiculous both it terms of salary and contract length. However I agree that his steep decline took everyone by surprise including my good self.He was top scorer in the Premier League when he was bought. No one could have reasonably seen this calamity coming
That isn't firing someone. We are paying his wages, in full, and with the exception of maybe framing him for murder, there is nothing we can do about it.They can fire him. Anybody can be kicked out of any job in the world. But they already paid a huge amount of money for Mourinho to leave...
Surely this would highlight that he is not fulfilling his contract and as such should either accept reduced pay or have his contract terminated?, I mean, if Ole doesn't fulfill his contract and perform his duties in a positive manner for the company, he would be sacked, no questions asked. What's good for the goose and all that. Just a hopeful thoughthis output is not worth us paying anywhere near £6.5m a year (that’s what £125k per week is). His last 6 months at Arsenal was poor, his 18 months at Utd was poor and this season at Inter, guess what he’s been crap.
When you are under contract at a football club, if you are sacked they still have to honour the contract. Crazy situation. I suppose Utd could ask him if he would accept half of whats left, but can leave immediately on a free, so he can get another contract with another club. Thats the only situation I can see that might work. I hope Woody doesnt expect to get a fee for him otherwise we will never get shut of him.Surely this would highlight that he is not fulfilling his contract and as such should either accept reduced pay or have his contract terminated?, I mean, if Ole doesn't fulfill his contract and perform his duties in a positive manner for the company, he would be sacked, no questions asked. would be great wouldn’t it! we can terminate both Sanchez’s and OGS’s contracts, But will still need to pay them the value of these contracts.Surely this would highlight that he is not fulfilling his contract and as such should either accept reduced pay or have his contract terminated?, I mean, if Ole doesn't fulfill his contract and perform his duties in a positive manner for the company, he would be sacked, no questions asked. Fire him for what exactly? And what has paying Mou got to do with Sanchez? They can fire him. Anybody can be kicked out of any job in the world. But they already paid a huge amount of money for Mourinho to leave...

I still share this delusion to a small extent. Rationally, I know he’s a busted flush, but there’s something of a what-if that I cling onto.Still think in a team high on confidence he can do a job for us as a false-9 flanked by Greenwood and Rashford/Martial.
In my defence i'd only just watched the Derby from two years previous, the 2-3 when Pogba actually looked as though he cared, and i'd forgotten how good Alexis was in the second-half, oh and I was pissedI still share this delusion to a small extent. Rationally, I know he’s a busted flush, but there’s something of a what-if that I cling onto.
Imagine. The defence is strong, Pogba remains and he and Bruno hit it off. We buy a quality right winger to complement a confident Martial and rejuvenated Rashford. Greenwood continues to fulfil his promise. In the midst of that, Sanchez remains as a dangerous squad option that can fill in and compete for a position all across the front three.
Again, it’s probably (definitely) delusional. But we can hope.
Well in most normal jobs, if you're not performing to the level your boss expects, you goes out if they choose so.Fire him for what exactly? And what has paying Mou got to do with Sanchez?
I voted this in another thread. It seems an insurmountable task to remove him from our wage budget so he will remain the worst value for wages player currently active.Unquestionably the worst signing that we have made in the PL era.I can’t think of any signing that was worse than Sanchez.Di Maria was a huge dissapointment, but we atleast sold him for 50 million pounds and recouped a significant chunk of the money.Falcao was here for only 1 season,Veron was atleast part of a title winning squad..,,Sanchez will go down in history as our worst ever PL signing...
Fernando Torres from Liverpool to Chelsea still takes the cake. It would be the equivalent of a 100 + deal now.Unquestionably the worst signing that we have made in the PL era.I can’t think of any signing that was worse than Sanchez.Di Maria was a huge dissapointment, but we atleast sold him for 50 million pounds and recouped a significant chunk of the money.Falcao was here for only 1 season,Veron was atleast part of a title winning squad..,,Sanchez will go down in history as our worst ever PL signing...

Also, Andy Carroll is up there still.
Basically. Anybody who thinks otherwise is deluding themselves. And anybody who wants him actively part of the squad again are delusional.Unquestionably the worst signing that we have made in the PL era.I can’t think of any signing that was worse than Sanchez.Di Maria was a huge dissapointment, but we atleast sold him for 50 million pounds and recouped a significant chunk of the money.Falcao was here for only 1 season,Veron was atleast part of a title winning squad..,,Sanchez will go down in history as our worst ever PL signing...
Well any industry based on fixed term contracts.Well in most normal jobs, if you're not performing to the level your boss expects, you goes out if they choose so.
Football lives in a bubble then...
During the 18 months that they were both at the club, Lingard quite comfortably outperformed Sanchez. Of course, Lingard reached a whole new level of shit this season so it would depend on whether he could turn that around (and on whether Sanchez improves or gets worse himself). If we needed to go the bench and our options were Sanchez and Lingard, putting aside all the contract issues aside, I'd go with Sanchez over Lingard every time.
Honourable mention for Darmian too in that debate.Unquestionably the worst signing that we have made in the PL era.I can’t think of any signing that was worse than Sanchez.Di Maria was a huge dissapointment, but we atleast sold him for 50 million pounds and recouped a significant chunk of the money.Falcao was here for only 1 season,Veron was atleast part of a title winning squad..,,Sanchez will go down in history as our worst ever PL signing...
At least Darmian had half a season which he was really good. When he first signed.Honourable mention for Darmian too in that debate.
Um i think thats rewriting history a bit, he had 4-5 games where he was decent and people over hyped him because he was still in the new signing honeymoon period. Then his form fell off a cliff and there it stayed for the vast majority of his 4 years at the club.At least Darmian had half a season which he was really good. When he first signed.
Darmian is a mystery. He would disappear for ages and then outta nowhere I'd see him start a solitary match during an injury crisis or Europa game and I be like "He is still here? Why are subsequent managers keeping hold of him? What's his role?"Um i think thats rewriting history a bit, he had 4-5 games where he was decent and people over hyped him because he was still in the new signing honeymoon period. No idea never understood it myself, should have been shipped out after his disastrous first season. But thankfully he's left now.Darmian is a mystery. Not even close. Darmian cost us about 20 million overall (transfer fee and wages). Sanchez costs us almost as much each season.Honourable mention for Darmian too in that debate.
Sanchez certainly cost the club a lot more but i was referring simply to how bad they were on the pitch. Not even close. Darmian cost us about 20 million overall (transfer fee and wages). Sanchez costs us almost as much each season.
