Vato
Watches other men wank.Supports Real.Coincidence?
We won a trophy this year!
Wish he'd never left. He had to carry some average sides and never got to play when we actually turned goodShould never sold Ruud to Real - we could've had him for the full 90![]()
Ruud in his prime in our 06-09 sides would have been a revelation.Wish he'd never left. He had to carry some average sides and never got to play when we actually turned good![]()
That was a hidden dig at Welbeck!I'm not even joking when I say that Ruud come into this team next season and outscore everyone on our team other than Hernandez, Rooney and RvP![]()
Booooo@Vato.That was fun.
Tantrums after the league cup final and being inpatient with the younger players can't have helped.Wish he'd never left. He had to carry some average sides and never got to play when we actually turned good![]()
We did pretty well without him.Ruud in his prime in our 06-09 sides would have been a revelation.
Let's get it trending on twitter. The decline starts. Moyes out.
Welbeck scored as many goals as Anderson this year, less than each of our full backs and only half as many as a centre back who hadn't scored for us yuntil March of last year. Van Nistelrooy would outscore him blindfolded. That was a hidden dig at Welbeck!![]()
He said the same or similar before he retired, after announcing he will retire.VDS having second thoughts after that performance.![]()

I still, all these years later, grieve over Ruud's departure. Would we have had the greatest club XI of all time from 06 to the day Ronaldo left us had we not sold Ruud? Maybe. And maybe, just maybe, Ronaldo might not have left us had we done back to back trebles with Ruud at the front of the line.Should never sold Ruud to Real - we could've had him for the full 90![]()
Would have been unfair. But we certainly did run out of "legends" to field.Giggs should have played
You make it sound like he was amazing his entire stay with us. His performances seriously dropped towards the end. I don't think he would have been an improvement on Rooney/Tevez/Ronaldo/Saha. The beauty of that front line was its mobility. And didn't Ruud and Ronaldo apparently hate each other?I still, all these years later, grieve over Ruud's departure. Coley never asked to be referred to as Andrew. He was asked at a press conference what his Mum calls him & he said "Andrew" & the press took that as a given or just to piss him off maybe..http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ester-United-v-Real-Madrid-legends-match.html
when he finds out he was called 'Andy' in a major newspaper article, Andrew Cole is going to be furious.
Nice one! You were sitting right next to many legends of our club right there! I'm so jealous of you right now.I managed to get some decent seats for this, it was as close as i'll ever get to being on the Madrid Bench anyway! Had chance to talk with Makalele, Salgado & Emilio Burtagueno (SP) here's just a few of the pics....

He left at the right time for me. The real shame was his peak coincided with us having a pretty average team.

His performances seriously dropped towards the end.???? You can't be serious .
As I understand it Ruud was annoyed because the service he got from Ronaldo wasn't as good as what he'd previously gotten from Beckham and had a go at Ronaldo in training for being selfish or whatever. Ronaldo got upset and Ruud said something like 'why don't you go and cry to your daddy?' meaning Carlos Quieroz who Ronaldo was close to at the time, but it was poor timing as Ronaldo's actual father had recently died. You make it sound like he was amazing his entire stay with us. He was consistent when it came to scoring goals, but his all round performances seriously dropped towards the end. There would have been no issue with him and SAF if he kept up the same performance level.2001/02 Manchester United 32 23 Premier League
