Funnily enough the one we’d want on the end of the chances has created 2 of those 3. I suppose if you had to back one to score that chance Rashford had from the Lindelof pass I would probably have backed Martial more to finish that than Rashford as well. That's your takeaway from this half? What chances are we creating? Where's the intricate passing and team buildup play?
We missed chances from Rashford and James as well, those should get in.I just knew we would cock this up today. You can sense it straight away. Lingard missed a very good chance early on and since then we have created nothing, going wide and never cross the ball in. Why does it take so long to get the ball into the box?
James has done nothing on the right.
This is completely right. Not only he was where he wasn't supposed to be, he also wasn't paying attention.Yep he’s stood like a statue at the back post with the reflex speed of the QE2. Id also expect a CB to be in the middle marking one of their danger men
Far from ok. We were abysmal and lost every battle.Clear foul on DDG. We did ok. We will win this.
Usually the referee doesnt even need a var for that. It is jus tthe easiest way for a referee to call it a foul when a keeper is touched in his box.De Gea does need to be stronger, but VAR gives that a foul on another day
Sounds about right. So you're Wolves 18/19! Good to know
We can win this 4:1 if lads wake up the way they did against AZ Alkmaar. This Everton is hardly any better than AZThere's still enough time to turn this around unless we keep fecking up like the first half.
An early goal now and we could be ok. Never feel safe that the opposition won’t score though. Especially from corners. Not sensing a comeback today.
I think that's half on him half on the players. He can not coach them up to play with the ball against packed defences. And of course the players are not good enough to play in tight spaces. Other than Martial who in our team can play in tight spaces? No one and I mean absolutely no one.Which sadly is most games. It's as if he prepares us only to counter attack and we get thrown off when we can't
The chance was not the easiest and frankly I can understand him scruffing it. However the shite show he put on after that just took the cake. He only runs to hide behind opposition players and fools people into thinking he is a smart player. He is very dim, a coward who has genuinely no redeeming attributes as a Manchester United forward.I knew when he missed the chance inside 20 seconds this game wasn't going to go well
(Well given Chelsea's result I suspect we all thought before the game it wasn't going to go well but that just confirmed it)
Yes, it should have been a foul. With that being said, the hand hits at the same time he's punching. He took his eye off the ball. He has to go up with 2 hands and be braver. That was brutal and De Gea has to do a lot better...feck off. You try punching a ball when a man mountain pulls your hand
Weve looked shaky when they cone at us. When we have got into their box we kinda look like we don’t know what We’re doing- we usually run into a defender or try a very risky ball which never looks like coming off. We’ve been in better positions to score than they have. feck we’ve been through on goal twice. They’ve had that flukey goal and a decent cross and that’s it
But Everton are not sitting deep. They are compressing the space in midfield.when teams sits deep, our players seem to prefer to play it safe, passing left, right and backwards. Back to our old ways.
