Think it is the strongest part of their team with DCL and Richarlison out.Everton midfield is tough, so not surprised by McFred.
why? Cavani had to start and Ronaldo just played 95 minutes, so the only “coo” part is Martial, but he’s fresh and playing in his best position.I'm a big fan of Ole but this line up is coo coo
Let’s ignore the fact Martial has had a decent Utd career up to the last year. VDB has proven even less than Martial.Absolutely spot on.
This 100% just can't understand Ole sometimes. If I didn't know better you would think he is trying to get himself the sack.My logic is that Martial doesn't look to have a long term future and Sancho does. So why prioritise Martial? It's far more in our interest to get Sancho up to speed.
Seems a pretty inoffensive lineup tbh. Martial is a bit weird but not that weird. When the caf ia furious with the line up, it usually means good football on the pitch. Lets crush them.
Every other combination I can think of is generally worse. Granted we haven't seen much of Donny but he's only been ok when he's come in.He never give any other midfield a run of games mate. He plays them once then goes back to McFred.
Even when McFred fails just as much. People expect so little from them that it's gets brushed over when they are crap. Has Fred had a good game this season? He had one or two good halfs and other than that has been absolutely shocking.
In this case yeah but he hasn't put out anywhere near the best team to win. We are going into an international break too.
Big call by Ole. Let's hope it is not another totally anonymous performance because he owes us all a top quality display and a goal or two.Really hope Martial impresses on the left. It's the only way back for him it seems.
Serious effort would be scoring a goal or 2 or providing an assist or 2. Making runs is basic effort for a player in his position. At the very least, Martial has to put in a serious effort today. Making runs with out the ball, that sort of thing.
We always say this when he’s in the starting XI but it very rarely happens. Its inevitable that Martial will have a game today. Fingers crossed!
That's criminally stupid. Or maybe just plain criminal. I can't decideYou need three subscriptions to watch a small portion of the games legally: NowTV/Sky, BT Sport and Amazon Prime (latter is usually only around Christmas)
As I said hard work is the bare minimum, which he hasn't shown for God knows how long. Doesn't matter what he did previously. As I said it's not about performance or talent. He doesn't work hard enough.Let’s ignore the fact Martial has had a decent Utd career up to the last year. VDB has proven even less than Martial.
Not too sure about that, too many players who are not in good form in there. But lets see how it goes, could turn out be a great line-up.That team should beat Everton regardless of the changes.
I don’t mind the changes in principle and it’s good to see Cavani in the first team, but if it doesn’t come off then you’re just asking for pelters.
Martial must take his opportunity.
VDB has played how many games to prove himself?Let’s ignore the fact Martial has had a decent Utd career up to the last year. VDB has proven even less than Martial.
Cavani deserves his start. He brought so much more energy and movement when he came on.Really happy with Cavani but why Martial
Every other combination I can think of is generally worse. Granted we haven't seen much of Donny but he's only been ok when he's come in.
The upcoming international break doesn't mean certain players aren't fatigued after Wednesday.
Yea but they have a system and a style of play that all of their players are used to. Still I think the line up is ok, the bench is scary. The Manager has to trust and use his squad more so I’m happy with the change
Would have been happy for Lingard over Greenwood
We have a massive squad so we have to use it more
City swap their squad around all the time
Let’s hope the players perform
