He could have squared it to Eriksen to advance the play but stubbornly tried the pass anyway and it resulted in losing the ball Like that is not even technical skill, all he needs to do is look up. Really good performance. Martinez and Varane both brilliant! Defence as a whole has been great. This back 4 should be starting every game. Bruno much better. Midfield needs to get a bit more control but we are playing counter attacking football, shows good adaptability from ETH. Elanga excellent also. Sancho's goal was fantastic though I would like to see him more involved. Rashford making good runs and using his pace well. Positive stuff. Hope levels don't fall in 2nd half.

So far, DDG in a war with a ball, Bruno gave his best to gift them a goal, he seems totally lost, specially in defensive shape, all over place in that position, rest are from very very good to good/decent.

Half time came at a good time for us. Liverpool had built up a head of steam. We need to come out well in the second half again. We were lucky to survive the own goal scare. Martinez the best player so far.
