"Jones has this. Carrick has this. The last one... I can't remember." Umm.. okay, thanks.Yeah, strange interview.

We'll see! I'll happily bow down if I'm wrong.Nope. It'll be 3-5-2. Look at the players we have out there, it's exactly what we were doing earlier on in the season.
That's the only reason I think it could be a 4-3-3, as otherwise it seems like a regular 4-4-2 to me.That tweet on an earlier page reckoned 4-3-3.
Rafael isn't a problem for Louis as he doesn't exist.Maybe Valdes? Strange he's not on the bench
Not sure if serious.Iam not one for doom and gloom before the game starts but FFS , No Fellaini and sodding Falcao starting.
Maybe his hand was forced but still I am not happy.
The question is where we utilise Rooney/ADM. If we persist with that ADM upfront bullshit i'm going to be fuming. We'll see! I'll happily bow down if I'm wrong.
Why? It's our most successful formation. All these people posting 352 formations are making me nervous.
I agree, we're at home so Mata should be one of the first names on the team sheet.. We're gonna run into the same problems today I can feel it.There isn't one good reason as to why Falcao is starting...not one, it's nothing but sheer stupidity to be honest.
He could score one today and it'd still be the wrong decision. He has no future here.
why not? he has been doing well, I am well aware not many think is is any good, but I like him.Not sure if serious.
I agree. Mata should play instead with Rooney up front alone. There isn't one good reason as to why Falcao is starting...not one, it's nothing but sheer stupidity to be honest.
He could score one today and it'd still be the wrong decision. He has no future here.
He hasn't played all that much and certainly less than last season, for the money he's on a week I'd get in an Ocatgon with Brock Lesnar no matter how I felt! You're not a pro athlete though! It's important to not burn out young players, people were making fun at Sterling - even if it was the right call. And that comes from someone who detests liverpool and will jump at any chance to attack them.
Why shouldn't he be? Fellaini's arguably been our one of our most consistent players this season. Not sure if serious.
Exactly, worrying how we don't even have a set formation to use every week. This could be a 442, 433, 4231, 352... Who knows any more.
I like him, I just think our football goes to shit when he's on the pitch. It's genuine hoofball.why not? he has been doing well, I am well aware not many think is is any good, but I like him.
Meh, he doesn't have much of a future here but for once he's playing as a lone striker (or the central focus) with wingers in the side, that'd what he thrives on, or used to. Today is probably ideally set up for him to make a statement, he's never been someone who had a striker partner like van Persie where he had to make runs out wide and things like that. That doesn't suit either of rvp or falcao, part of the reason both have been shite. There isn't one good reason as to why Falcao is starting...not one, it's nothing but sheer stupidity to be honest.

Rafael is obviously lower in the picking order than Valencia and McNair right now. McNair can also cover if one of our centrebacks gets injured, makes sense to me. Even if I do like Rafael..It's odd, I'd love to know the reasoning.
You and me both, mate! The question is where we utilise Rooney/ADM. If we persist with that ADM upfront bullshit i'm going to be fuming.
I expect this to end in a draw anyway, 1-1. Sunderland aren't that bad, they're just crap at putting the ball in the net but they've done well defensively this season.
Rafael's been in quite a few U21 games though. As long as the team is not set up for 5-3-2, I will be happy.
Maybe Rafael done his ACL and the club is just covering it up? very likely LvG doesn't rate him, which is a shame.
We play shit with Fellaini on the pitch. Simple. I like him too, but if it means hoofball for 90mins then feck that. Why shouldn't he be? Fellaini's arguably been our one of our most consistent players this season.
He hasn't played all that much and certainly less than last season, for the money he's on a week I'd get in an Ocatgon with Brock Lesnar no matter how I felt!
I agree, his arrogance is being displayed in the worst way, instead of the way that a Jose for example would show some pomp. The thing that makes no sense is that he has decades of experience and knows fine well that you don't need one of each foot for a successful defensive partnership, yet he will do it to the point of playing a completely woeful CB just to be "right".
I think it's more frustration and exasperation than surprise, these are such vital games and our manager's ego is overriding common sense.
Thought that tweet thing had been debunked hadn't it? I seem to recall against Southampton it came out showing a back four and we all got our hopes up, only to go back three when the game kicked off.See my post above, it suggest Rooney is partnering Falcao with AdM and Young wide.
I can see your point , I think you are wrong mind.I like him, I just think our football goes to shit when he's on the pitch. It's genuine hoofball.
There was that story about the public restroom incident... 1+1 = Rafael out of the team?Is this Rafael and LVG thing the same as Moyes and Zaha. Or is LVG daughter way too old for Rafael ?
It probably is, but we didn't look convincing in it at all, and we weren't creating many opportunities or scoring enough goals, which is why Van Gaal said he reverted back to the diamond. Why? It's our most successful formation.
