Reminds me of that line at the start of the Michael Collins movie when they are at the GPO, "Games over Harry, lost again..."

When Welbeck stepped up first who can't hit a barn door when he has time to think about it. Says it all.

feck me there were some awful penalties there. Any player that took a short run-up deserves a painful flick in the balls

NOT letting it slip!
Where was Carrick? We needed the experienced players, the senior players to step up. Not Adnan. He's a kid and the absence of fear does not equal confidence. Disappointed in the senior players.

What is De Gea is so good at saving penalties in training, our players haven't scored one in months now and don't know how to take them anymore. Maybe it is all his fault?

The rot started when Moyes brought off Kagawa for Valencia and then Buttner for Evra. He was playing for the 1-0 win and goal difference advantage.

Sunderland gets the pleasure of being humiliated at Wembley. Manchester United end the season trophyless.
Well that will be them relegated. It's usually what happens to these teams when they get to a Cup final, Middlesborough, Birmingham, Wigan. We now have the weekend off to recover and then concentrate on 4th place.

Can think of a hundred things that were wrong with that performance.

Disastrous evening. At
Home in the semi final and we are outplayed by Sunderland and deservedly go out.

Time for a massive clear out

Appalling mental state that is threatening to totally derail our season.

The players should be embarrassed with that performance.

Not one bit surprising that Fletcher was the only one who looked confident or showed some bottle in the penalty shootout either.

Darren Fletcher, only player to score a penalty, guy who came back to football after fecking months of injury. Bunch of fecking spineless, gutless cnuts. Shame on them.

You could tell every one of them would miss before they took the pens apart from Fletch.

Welbeck, Janujaz & Jones should bury their heads in shame. Overrated piece of garbage.....

How difficult can it be to score from 12 yards?
