Most Chelsea fans online are calling him a snake and that he should rot in the reserves if he stays. Also a lot of fans want this saga to be over before pre-season as to not distract Poch.Euro on the horizon he can't be a bench warmer or okay with reserves. If he stays probably he will sign new contract and play well for us.
To me it sounds like Chelsea have more to lose from a long drawn out saga. Don’t really see why United can’t wait till the last day of the transfer window. Especially as Chelsea are having to invent other suitors. No one is paying £50m+ for Mount. This is the best offer Chelsea will ever get.

If that’s the case this will get done at £55m plus £5m in add ons, that way both parties come away like they got a decent deal. Not that I personally think we should be paying that for Mount.
United should stick to their guns, £50 million plus £5 million in add ons is more than fair.
