by the way, amazing how a 4th division game in Brasil looks so pro... nice turf, a lot of people... no wonder they keep producing good players.

Im guessing the team will appeal to get a rematch or some shit like that, but i cant see nothing happening. Like the ref, a baloon or a dog, a masseur xd, etc, everything except for the players is "field".

Seriously I'd be ashamed if my club won this way and would expect my officials to offer a rematch at the very least.

Because we could finally have an answer to the age old question of whether Mike Phelan does anything.

Mental stuff.

The army fatigues bloke slipping at the end . Loses his gear and then the overhead caddy slam was great.

Look at him run afterwards .

Ref really should have just awarded a goal out of that.

Yes, very professional....If you ignore the bit about the massuer running on to the pitch and blocking a goal, which the officials apparently ignored and allowed the match to continue.

... nice turf, a lot of people... no wonder they keep producing good players.

They play on decent pitches in League 2, with larger crowds I'd imagine, doesn't really equate to England producing good players.

 shit happens... i cant see any difference between the massuer doing what his heart told him to do, and a referee awarding a unjustified red card that his boss told him to do, that will put your team out of Semis of a champions league. fak!

A LA FIFA!! like we say here... no point in complaining.

edit. they even have a cameraman shooting the match! thats irrefutable proof of a pro game.

This is not supposed to be funny, and the team should get a heavy fine and deduction.

I know this kind of blooper is light hearted and supposed to be warming and funny, but it is an official match, and as team official you should know better not to pull stunt like this.

Imagine if the match actually matters, and IMO it is an insult to the integrity of fair play

fault of the lineman who didnt noticed the guy inside the field. Nothing to do with the club or anything else.

edit:

everything to do with the club, more with the employee. Probably will get fired and banned...

The match did matter - it was for promotion into the above league I believe.

Yet, it's still pretty funny though - and you can find something funny whilst still condemning it.

He can't unfortunately... until the ball actually goes in, you can't award a goal.

Interested to see what action he did take though... inless I'm fairly sure it should have been a drop ball on the goal line, which would be an interesting place to have a contested drop ball (not that the offending team shold have bothered contesting it mind).

Is it just tradition in South America that every game involves somebody running away from a mob of players or fans?

You would think the opposition would hold their hand up after such blatant cheating and simply gift them a goal.
