Messi, Ronaldo and Neymar are the finalists for the Ballon D'Or

Luis Enrique, Bayern's Pep Guardiola and Chile's Sampaoli — finalists for 2015 FIFA World Coach of the Year.

Has to be Enrique for me.

But it'll be good to watch Cristiano's reaction. Of course in case he assists to the event.
 
Should have been Suárez instead of Cristiano.

Messi will win anyway though, and rightly so.
 
Ahh, Suarez deserved to be in top 3 with the kind of form he is in now. Scored some vital goals last few months.
 
Suarez would make more sense in the top 3, so it pleases me that he's been left out of it.

Allegri should have been nominated for Coach of the Year. Won the double and got a non-Barca/Real/Bayern team to the CL final.
 
Yeah I agree with everyone saying Suarez should been listed instead of Ronaldo. Messi's going to win it this year so it doesn't really matter anyway.
 
the ballon d'or is from last years season and not this year or Messi shouldn't be there as well, anyway Messi would get my vote because I like a player with skills and Ronaldo sold his skills for records a few years ago (maybe 2 years?) But so far this year I would have Neymar, Lewandowski and Suarez.

It's a 2015 award. His stats are still good in 2015 but there's a clear gap between the performance of his compared to Barcelona's trio.
 
Messi & Enrique have already won. I can't see them picking anyone else.
 
Lewandowski for Ronaldo IMO. Cant have 3 Barca players in there.

Messi has 39 goals to Ronaldo's 47 in 2015 at club level. Neymar has 41 and Suarez has 38. Pretty evenly distributed for all of them. Neymar has scored more in the Copa than the others.

Yawn. He is Nistelroy going up against Henry x 3. The number of goals tell only part of the story. The other three are playing at a different level to Ronaldo.

In this season yes but Messi has also been quite absent this season.

It's not based on half of last season though is it?

To the best of my knowledge the stats in 2015 for goals and assists are (club and country):

Messi: 72
Suarez: 62
Ronaldo: 60
Neymar: 58

So even in terms of the actual numbers of it's very close between Ronaldo, Suarez and Neymar. Taking into account that Suarez hasn't played for Uruguay at all because of his ban and has taken one penalty the whole year, whilst Neymar has been Barca's best player this season and was a key part of treble winning side last season, with Ronaldo not at his best it's hardly outrageous to suggest he shouldn't be in the top 3 as you seem to be making out.
 
On the website you listed, Messi has 72 (the same as I added up) and Ronaldo has 62 (2 fewer than I said) so it's not vastly different unless I'm missing something.

No, didn't notice you were doing goals and assists.

Suarez is certainly running him close, but I can't see any justification for claiming Ronaldo being in the three is an obvious mistake.
