Looks like United have signed 20-year-old goalkeeper Kie Plumley, as per the Premier League squad lists that have just been released.

He comes as a free agent, previously at Oxford United.
GK agent Richard Lee sheds a bit of light on these type of deals and why clubs do it. Even mentioning Plumley’s case in the beginning.

Victor Musa trained with the first-team today. Can see him in the background of the bottom right pic.

1-0 at HT. Sounds like Amass is having a decent game.

James Nolan went off after 25 minutes, not sure if that's due to injury or a planned sub.

Unfortunately not. Rangers TV will have highlights but a subscription is needed.
Probably for the best as I made that comment and then completely forgot about the game for 2 hours.

With the Uefa Youth League squad announced, what would everyones preferred Starting XI be? (assuming Gore, Hansen and Kobbie don't play as they would be obvious picks).

Fleetwood Town can confirm young goalkeeper Billy Hartley has joined Premier League giants Manchester United after a four-year spell at the club's Academy.

Hartley, who first arrived at Fleetwood at the age of eight, joined up with the Under-9s back in 2019 following a successful trial.

The 12-year-old showed he had talent between the sticks and was converted to a goalkeeper during his time with the Under-10s and hasn’t looked back since as he has been a huge asset to the Town Academy.

Fleetwood-born Hartley has attended plenty of games at Highbury with his dad, who is an Onward Card holder, but will now have to focus on the next stage of his development as he makes his way to Carrington with The Red Devils.

Hartley has now switched clubs to join Manchester United following an agreement with a significant training compensation fee, which further adds to the income and profit made from a number of Academy graduates.

Jack Higgins, Academy Manager, said on the move: “We are really proud of Billy joining Manchester United. It’s an incredible achievement for him to be joining one of the biggest clubs in the world.

“It shows again the progression of our Academy and supporting players moving to their next destination at an age and stage that is right for them – every player and their journey is different.

“Billy joined us within our Pre-Academy over four years ago and has spent the whole time under the guidance of Mike Hall, our current Transition Lead Phase Coach.

“Mike deserves a huge amount of credit for not only his support in Billy’s personal development but also his role in converting him from an outfield player to a goalkeeper, to allow him to flourish enough for opportunities like this.

“I’m sure we’ll see Billy and his family regularly enough at Highbury in the future and will continue to support them all as best as we can from afar - well done Billy and good luck from us all.”

Fleetwood Town would like to thank Billy for his efforts over the last four years and wish him all the best in the future.

Suprise international call-up for U15 defender Jayden Ngwashi who's been called up to Italy's U16s for two games against The Netherlands.

Really impressive achievement because this Italy age group has some top top CBs.

Interesting the amount of continental teams looking at England youth players now. Any notes on Jayden?

Majid Balogun scored twice for the U16s in a 3-1 win over Blackburn. Great news that his injury wasn't too serious, I feared it might have been an ACL.

Just realized, this might not have been the U16s. United are doing a bio-banding week so this could've been any age group.

Kai Rooney (who's an U14 normally) scored the other goal. Whether he's playing up or Balogun was playing down I have no idea but a cool experiment nonetheless.

Has to be said the 18s do look very good, he has a lot of talent at his disposal but the individual improvement is self-evident. Don't think we've won a title since McKenna, be good if this was the year we could end the drought, I also haven't been as excited about the potential of a team since then too.

I personally don't look at the team as a collective but rather focus on the individuals to try and predict who may have a realistic chance of breaking into the first team.

And as far as Adam Lawrence is concerned, he joined us 2 years ago from Charlton and has been coaching alot of the current youngsters for a while now. He was previously the u16s Head coach before being put in charge of all the players from the u13s to the u16s where he was overseeing their development. It'll be interesting to follow his and the u18s development in the months ahead.

This side have a good shout in PL North for sure. Looking at the table both Manchester teams have 100% record and lots of goals, if it continues the mini derby could be a good game and great experience for the players. I do think that trying to win trophies can help develop individuals so it’s good to see

Mick Matthews has joined the club and will work as Academy coach development manager. Mick’s role is focused entirely on developing the Academy’s coaching workforce across all areas of the programme, assessing current staff’s competencies and developing methods to support them to develop and ensure United maintains our standards of world-class coaching. Mick begins work on 1 November after leaving the FA, where has been a highly regarded member of their team since 1997. He has a UEFA Pro-Licence, an MSC in Coach Development and has tutored the UEFA A-Licence in the past. He also had a lengthy career, most notably with Wolves and Hull City. Everyone at the Academy looks forward to working with him.

Interested to know how the move came about. Presumably the parents re-located to Manchester because moves between clubs that far away aren't allowed at his age.

I saw him play in a tournament maybe 6 months ago & although it's very early days, he looked really good.
