A never-nude? I thought he just liked cut-offs.
Very surprised @Skizzo picked Vidal there. Especially having picked Modric just before that.
Looks a solid move to me. He's went from having big question marks about the two playing in front of Busquets (although Gotze's peak was perhaps underrated) to having arguably the best possible midfield in the pool.

Gives me a bit of flexibility to try something slightly different if I want. After making the necessary upgrade in Modric, I also didn’t have the league flexibility to maneuver totally how I wanted to to upgrade elsewhere.

It honestly looks like potentially draft-winning business to me mate. That may well be a kiss of death though, as I thought the same thing about Team Beam putting together a Godin/Varane CB partnership in the initial drafting in an overall weak defensive pool

Aye, couldn't believe our luck getting Varane after Godin and playing in Atletico system. Oh, well...

Busquets-Modric-Vidal midfield is scary.

Agree with this. Skizzo’s midfield had looked like a car crash off the ball, but now is bang on.

Aye make no mistake, he has a top midfield, but had a chance to get one of the best modern pair in Kroos/Modric as a proven partnership, not that Vidal is bad in any sense of the word :)

aye, makes sense. Looking forward to seeing your formation mate, as you have to drop Sergi Roberto I guess.

With Busquets instead of Casemiro I'd actually prefer Vidal with his physicality, aggression and goalscoring — there's enough playmaking between Modric and Busquets, and it's not like with Kroos there they'll replicate that Barca's midfield chemistry.

Won’t be anything super fancy. I actually quite like him too, so it’s a shame he has to drop. Damn Barca signing everyone.

I was thinking more of Skizzo replicating the Real set up rather than the Barca one with Busquets shielding.

He has industrious wingers and a 4-3-3 set up that would play to Kroos/Modric strengths, finding space and initiating counters(Busquets as well). I can of course see the reasoning behind choosing Vidal and his dynamic game would dovetail nicely to Modric and Busquets.

We were looking at something similar btw with picking Modric first in this RR, but didn't expect Hazard to last to us.

yeah I like your team quite a lot as always and it's a huge upgrade to your midfield.

Not that I'm complaining tho, with Kante already in our team Kroos was the better fit for us, whilst Vidal to your side so all the parties gained from that exchange I think :)

I was probably going to start around 2pm BST but will move it back if you want
I would like to have it started as early as possible so if 2pm bst is just that, then it's great. Not a big deal for me though so if @BIG DUNK comes along and wants a different time, that's fine for me as well.
