Modern Draft Rules

Standard T&C:

S1 - Players born on or after 1st Jan 1985 are eligible. Messi & Ronaldo blocked.
S2 - Maximum 3 players per league in the starting XI. Current club will determine the league. For retired players, last club will determine the league
S3 - Initial drafting of 12 players. Extra 2 players per Reinforcement Round. 1 in the final.
S4 - 8 hrs per pick. Do not wait or provide extra time.
S5 - No change in picks after posting.
S6 - No substitutions. Tactical changes with in-field players only.
S7 - Open pool reinforcement. Undrafted players can be drafted now.
S8 - After round 2, pick times will be recorded. Lowest time wins in case of draws. Pm picks are default 10 minutes

Assistant/Co Managers:
In match thread, only one of the managers is allowed to post for the duration of the match. The other manager is restricted to 3 posts or less for the duration of match thread. Make your choice and make it clear on match thread on who will lead the discussions.

It's not one at at time. It's just one for the match.

Match submissions:
More of a request. Most managers have multiple days before their matches are due to be played. Please make your submission before and do not wait for match day to make your submission and avoid last minute delays.

Any three years is fine.. It’s not a hard and fast rule.. More of a guidance.. Say for example someone picks Rashford.. There is limited data to truly judge him vs. someone like Ramos who has a lot more years

Having the next draft up and running now would probably mean more traffic in the draft forum, which would likely benefit participation in the final of the current draft. I don't care either way as I'm not playing, but I don't see much issue with this small amount of overlap.

Last time we did it, it had the counter effect, harms had to post in the ongoing draft thread for people to vote in the final.
