We agreed we wouldn’t draft until after the final.. Moby already has my pick so once the final is over we can start again

Was a bit undecided myself as he's not very recent but his entire career esp. the 06-10 phase should be ranked quite highly. Plus, he saves me a European league spot as he will be counted for MLS.
I think he's a no brainer. Easily good enough for a first round pick, especially given the league restrictions.

Ya probably will have to sell him on a United forum, which sounds mental.
great pick, what is mental is the fact he is never used in drafts and there are not many better supporting players then him on an all-time level even. We were hoping he would somehow survive until our turn

I was 100% sure he would come back to me.. I am so annoyed I didn’t get him:mad:

When 2mufc0 and I were discussing cutoff points I told him I was looking forward to picking Rooney :(

Yup. I always thought he would be a first round pick though.

Yeah. He and a few other United players are underrated here in the draft/all-time context because we've seen them so much and we've seen them at their worst. I'd say that even Scholesy is somewhat underused, for example I'm not even sure that I've ever picked him, despite him and Cantona being my favourite United players in history. Let alone the likes of Rooney (the decline of his last few years), Vidić (Torres) and Evra (Lennon). Stylistically I'd say that he is a rare kind of a striker that can get in pretty much every set up — like Seeler, Law (although obviously not as good) or Suarez (), with his all-round ability, ridiculous workrate and goalscoring prowess.

United might have a different manager by the time the 2nd round is back to me.

Slowly realising the cut off point is just after most players I have been considering picking.

Robbed, Ribery, Iniesta, Van Persie, Schweinsteiger and Lahm are all just outside

Yeah was designed to try and exclude as many modern goats as possible so we get completely new set of players drafted.
