So I think this is the most expensive team assembled (realistic formation).

I used the highest priced player for each position they can realistically play.

How well would this team do?

That midfield :lol: Defensively not too bad in comparison. Attack is ok, but nothing special. If the midfield was sorted out and Mbappe was moved up top, then they would be closer to winning things. As it is, no chance.

Changed. I didn't realize Felix can play further back. But he needs to be in there for that price!

Yeah, Felix deeper makes more sense but it's still too flimsy a midfield. I guess defensive minded midfielders don't generally go for circa £100m. This team needs a big money move for Declan Rice.

You should probably put Arthur or Rodri in midfield alongside De Jong if you want to make it a somewhat realistic side.

Surely Grealish was more expensive than some of those wingers too?

Realistically, someone like Felix wouldn't have cost 100+ mill if he'd actually been some form of central midfielder capable of playing alongside Coutinho in a midfield three.

It would be fairer to pick a formation (4-3-3 by all means) and then select the most expensive players based on their preferred/best positions. You'd still end up with a team that could be easily improved upon for the most part (so, the overall point would still stand - so to speak).

I thinking you letting your rage out because Maguire is there.

Aside from Maguire and Kepa, that's a high quality starting XI, a bit unbalanced in the midfield but still high quality.
