Not going to happen, but the amount of shits people says for their rejection because he's not good and won't fit in is just plain hypocrisy, the only thing that made him unwanted is that because he's an Arse, but skill and potential has got nothing to do with it, not that it's not a valid point, but can we just say it as it is please folks

I don't care where he would fit in or who is he going to replace. He would come here and be one of our best players.

It is possible. The rivalry between us isn't that deep to stop the deal from happening. Hell they let Chasley leave. If rumors of them getting Hazard are true that would be a shored up replacement for them.

pompous and deluded.
If he went to your lot he´d walk right into your team being back4 midfield or attack. Difference however is 21 points and even after January actually having a chance of winning trophies:). He wouldn´t walk right into our team. Our team is a bunch of winners that done the business time and time again. Nasri isn´t

I always thought the converse was true til Silvestre went down South.

Although, with the benefit of hindsight, that was a stroke of genius by SAF...
He deserves credit, indeed, but it wasn't one of his most astute acts - I think most people could see he was past it; everyone except our management team. It was a disastrous move.

Lets put it this way, Wenger would never sell a player to a rival team that would improve the rival team.

Silvestre was a masterstroke from Fergie.

Although IIRC it was more Mikael's decision. And Fergie decided that considering Mikael had been a good servant for us he deserved to go wherever he wanted.

He is actually a hard-working player. Considering Ryan Giggs is one of our best options in central midfield (when we look for creativity), Nasri would of course add a lot. He would be a great option in both 433 and 442. He is versatile, and have a lot of the qualities we need. Contract up in 2012. Could be a fantastic purchase.

But, tbh, it seems more like an estimated guess by the media.

I still find it mind-boggling to even understand that move. What were we thinking?

SAF must have been laughing his bellend off while sipping his vin rouge in his office.

Arsene's great much of the time but that was fecking stupid, didn't he twig that if peanut head was any good any more he wasn't going to us? Even Homer nods.

Our wingers are better, that's neither pompous or deluded.

And unless you have trouble reading you'll see I've already acknowledged he could work in a central position.

His future is going to be down the middle and his potential is huge.
No doubt! He is not a more natural wide player than Luka Modric is. I think people underestimate how much a player like this will/can develop the next two-three years. Look at Sneijder and Modric. Or Scholes and Lampard.

A never-nude? I thought he just liked cut-offs.
The whole lot of you never learn eh? Where does he fits in, how many times Fergie have made you eat your words but no, you come here claiming to be the descendant of SAF and dare questions the man himself.

If he deemed Nasri to be fit for us he surely have things in mind, things fledglings like you will never be able to fathom, hence you're sitting here trying to look smart on the internet while he's going on to manage arguably the biggest football team on the planet
Eh? As far as I can tell people are calling BS on the rumour having any truth to it, not criticisng Fergie's judgement. As it happens I think he'd be a superb signing, but thats on odd rant you just went on.

Agreed. He's an excellent player and he'd find his way into our first eleven far more often than not. Wouldn't at all surprise me for him to do a Modric and prove himself more than capable of excelling in a midfield 2. It just won't be in a Utd shirt unfortunately.

No chance, you've got Park after all.
Because Park and Nasri perform the same role for the team :houllier:. That's like saying that we don't need Berbatov because we already have Hernandez.

Regardless of how untrue I think this is, I'd welcome him into our squad. I reckon he could play in a midfield two quite easily against weaker teams considering we've put the likes of Giggs and Anderson in there in recent years who aren't natural centre midfielders.

According to L'Equipe Nasri would favor a move if Fabregas stays. If Fabregas moves he would eye an opportunity to get the type of role he wants in the team. L'Equipe is normally very reliable. He do not have a lot of options, do he?

United could spend £85million on David De Gea, Phi
Where would Nasri fit in with us? we dont play 4-3-3/4-5-1 much at all now we have the Rooney and Hernandez front line blossoming, hes not a player who plays in a 2 man midfield, the way we use our wide players id definitely prefer Nani and Valencia over him to, i think that story is a pile of excrement.

We need a high class central midfield player, thats not Nasri, we need a Modric.

I think he'll develop into someone who can thrive in a midfield two. In fact, he could be there already. Failing that he'd offer another tactical option on the left wing, particularly in bigger games when we often favour Giggs or Park out there to keep things narrower.

He wont come here. He is just looking for a better deal at Arsenal. Its not the first time we have been heavily linked to an Arsenal player who never came in the end!
