Take that the way we've played. Fred has to come on ... Martial should be warming up now ..

Very lucky to not be behind. We got battered in play here as badly as we got battered at the Emirates, at the Etihad and at Anfield this season. It's a problem for us playing away to big teams.

Get Fred on for McTominay or Sabitzer, get Martial on for Weghorst. Tell Rashford to start playing

I don't know what Ten Hag was thinking putting McT advanced and having him work with Weghorst. Rashford and Antony have a near impossible job.

Back 4 has done well despite having literally no protection from our midfield. Antony was pretty decent. Everyone else really poor. We're playing on the counter but don't have a target to aim at. Either Rashford or Martial need to be moved up front.

Without Casemiro, we need 3 CMs in a game like this.
We are playing zero. Sabitzer isn't a DM, Bruno isn't a CM and MCT isn't a( footballer) whatever the hell role he is playing. McT struggles to get on the ball in deep positions, Ten Hag has stuck him up front, has no idea where to be, all his runs are straight lines.

Sort it out Erik, shit set up as much as the players have been bad.

Ten Hag has abandoned the dynamic front 3 with Rashford down the middle we had when we dropped Ronaldo for…Weghorst?
Our defence and pressing wasn’t a problem before we signed him. All we need was cover yet this cover has completely changed how we play
Weghourst provides nothing, absolutely nothing. Cannot hold up the ball despite his size. Understand we were skint and needed bodies, but ETH definitely needs to change something so as to not have to play him so often. Maybe an impact sub last 15 mins, but that's it.

I am sure Martinez at 6 will be positive with another CB playing alongside Varnae than trying to shoehorn other midfielders at 6.

I suppose Rashfords magical run was only going to last so long. But without him in absurd form, we are toothless going forwards

But Martial on, we can't get any worse upfront

It's confirmed now, Weghorst is the worst player that we've ever had that's played significant minutes. No matter how bad players in the past have been, I've never felt like we were playing with 10 men so often.

Any game Rashy struggles in, it becomes even more glaring how bad the attack is. Antony has been good but a good Antony game still doesn't offer much in the final third.

McTominay is literally in all of my Fifa pro clubs drop in matches. Holds it far too long, loses it and when he does manage to get a pass away, it’s behind the player. With that said, no doubt he’ll score a jammy goal at some point.

Hope we hold out at least for a draw. This game is too open in midfield for my liking.

Playing McTominay to support Weghorst is very unproductive. Sure McTominay is better at scoring playing higher up the pitch. However, there is no creativity to create chances. There is no chance for McTominay to put his finishing skill to use.

Major black mark is Ten Hag's performances away to big teams.

Martial and Fred need to come on. We got away with it here, can't sit back and hope for this again.

The main problem is lack of balance in the midfield. So I wouldn’t be surprised to see Fred start in the second half.

Fortunate that it is 0-0 at halftime. Time for EtH to work his magic.

Weghorst is painful to watch. How on earth have we ended up in a position that we have to rely on this guy. Wouldn't start for any other side in the league

Eh? They had 3 and we had 1 shot on goal, hardly "battered" ffs, stop overblowing shit up.
If it was 2 or 3 nil we wouldn't call it lucky. They had serveral excellent chances whereas we haven't. The xg reflects that too.

We are being outplayed but of course you couldn't expect anything else, we're basically playing with nine men. And I'm generous with counting Sabitzer as a whole player.

I wish we didn't have to play the second half. A 0-0 would be a dream result here.

You wonder. He needs to stop shoehorning other players in and play the good players in their best position
injuries and suspensions bro. Martial is glass and you can’t trust Scott in the midfield. Fred just came back on Friday from international duty!

Don't get why Bruno is playing deeper with McTom higher up. It's completely disrupting the balance of the midfield and making us very easy to get past.

I understand Bruno improves our distribution from deep, but it's also making us very susceptible to runs from the center by Willock. Sit deep with McTom and Sabitzer and try to hit on the counter.

Oh and Rashford really needs to help out Shaw more, we are constantly being outnumbered on the left side.

If we sign WW or Sabitzer permanently it will be really really bad.

Feel if we had more pace on the break, we'd hurt them. Garnacho on for Wout and Rashford up top, hit them on the break when they commit forward.
